Live feed from Kyiv
« on: February 18, 2014, 02:23:24 PM »
This is the live feed from Kyiv http://espreso.tv/stream

English resources for up the minute info on the unfolding violence can be found on reddit.com/r/ukraine

Talksed to pavel just last week, seemed he was optomistic.  This week, not so sure what the mood is, certainly sad.

That is just SO scary!  My thoughts go out to all those with family and friends in the immediate area - hopefully ones who live further away won't get caught up in the escalating violence.

Canadian embassy in Kyiv now temporarily closed until further notice:

I don't know if they actually left the building, but it seems it's closed to the public now.

Slumba,

You know a hellofalot more about internet access than I do.   But if I now go to http://espreso.tv/stream
it now says that it cannot be reached by Google Chrome (which I use as my browser).  Are you getting this through a different source?

I was told by my friends in UA that it was blocked there as well.

Some updates   over 100 confirmed dead  over 500 injured. These will prove to be conservative figures.
