US Embassy Kyiv--NEW LOCATION
« on: February 20, 2014, 07:28:54 AM »
I just realized that the embassy moved to a new building in Jan, 2012. It looks like it is much further out from the city center. The old building certainly left a lot to be desired!

Has anyone been to this new building?  What do you think?

I was there in Sept 2013. I have no idea how it compares to the old one. If was fine, just another building.

A building that cost 247 million dollars is just fine!

Yes...it was just fine. Looked like a normal US government building.

We were there several times over the past few months and it is a nice building.  There is no large parking lot like you might expect, however we were able to park on the street near the entrance.  You might want to check with the first official you see near the entrance.  Depending on whether you are a US citizen and what you are there for, will determine which line you get into.  One is much longer than the other.
