Why?

According to the Putin apologists, Ukraine isn't a real country, or that it is really apart of Russia, or that by saying anything Ukrainian is akin to Nazism or some bankster weed plot, why defend Ukraine?

I wish Ukraine a happy independence day, may they find the power to set aside their internal differences and keep their independence regardless of how many powers wish them to give it up.
