Who can take over my role
« Reply #600 on: April 01, 2019, 01:35:39 PM »
I am in for 'belly button' surgery at 10:45 AM tomorrow.

If I don't survive, the gang will need to elect someone to take over my role here and carry it out properly.

I saw spouse adding up all numbers from our various financial accounts, and looking at tickets for Tahiti.

Just joking; I didn't actually see her doing it.

Had a colonoscopy a few years ago. My wife dropped me off at the hospital in the morning and when she came back to pick me up a few hours later she remarked that she just found out how cheap it was to fly to Paris and live in Paris. She's always wanted to live in Paris.

Best of luck ML.

Got through the first 24 hours.  A lot of ugly looking bruising and stitching; and a lot of pain.
But I should look better in a speedo now.  Will post pics upon request.

No Oath Ceremony yet
« Reply #610 on: April 06, 2019, 04:06:40 PM »
We are both disappointed that nothing heard yet concerning scheduling of Oath Ceremony  for Ochka.

This is really screwing up plans to buy ticket for her trip to Ukraine this summer.
Especially troubling since she missed going all of last year due to the silly 12 and then 18 month 'flimsy paper' extensions of her 2 year Green Card.
So 2 years since she has seen her parents and other family.

We were lucky as one of first to have the Citizenship Interview from our filing month group on VisaJourney.  But now luck has changed as some who went later got their Oath Ceremony scheduled before they reached parking lot upon leaving.

This is all specific to each USCIS city, so comparisons are meaningless.

On VisaJourney some have gotten scheduled quickly (as exampled above) and other have waited 2 months or more (some even 2 years or so).

I tried calling the central USCIS number once, but gave up after being on hold for 26 minutes.

You've peaked my interest. I wanna see pics.

Lots of immigrants getting citizenship around Seattle. Oath ceremonies happen often. My wife didn't wait long. Same day for some people. Come here and bring your speedo.

Great Final Four Games

Virginia takes lead and beats Auburn in last 1.5 seconds.
Auburn guys are going to have nightmares about this for a long time.

Texas Tech outscores Michigan State by 9 points in last minute or so to win the second game.

Thank you Krimster for your advice regarding Metal Detectors.

I purchased the one you recommended, and was able to quickly locate some iron survey pins.

Citizenship Oath Ceremony Scheduled
« Reply #615 on: April 12, 2019, 10:11:25 AM »
Wife finally got scheduled for Oath Ceremony on 24 April 2019.

Now . . . should I worry?

I forget the rule:

I thought the wife would ditch the USA man after she gets the 2 year Green Card.

But maybe the ditching comes after Citizenship achieved.

What's the rule here gang ??
