Yes yes, the old I'm not an American thing once again.  I've got bad news for you I guess, I'm born and raised here in America.   No I don't subscribe much to the 'american exceptionalism'  model.   As far as the Budapest Memorandum, obviously nobody cares much for it, and Russia has claimed that the Western countries interfered in the political process by helping to  finance and support a Coup...

You mean to say that you and your communist buddies in Russia don't care for it.  You can dismiss it all you want to, however it was a major treaty and the World expects honorable countries to abide by treaties.  Russia deflecting and whining that the USA got involved is a strawman argument when in fact it was Russia who was all along interfering in the affairs of Ukraine.

So you were born in America, but don't believe in American Exceptionalism (in fact I noticed you did not even capitalize American).  Are you a member of the American Communist Party?  I think it would clarify a lot about you if you are.  I don't expect you to admit it, but there's something very "off" about you.

Uh huh.  Like I said you are a Russian apologist.

You mean to say that you and your communist buddies in Russia don't care for it.

AC, this forum is about an exchange of ideas, yet you keep trying to make it personal somehow.  Hmm...

Hmmm, don't agree with your assessment/reasoning here...I'm not at all convinced he is bluffing.

Oh well, that settles it.  General fathertime thinks Putler might not be bluffing.  Wave the white flag of surrender!

So convenient of you to show up and defend your komrad.  Are your girlish feelings still hurting over the statement of facts?

hehe, considering the 'logic' regarding the significance of Putin and your claims about his small hands, I'm not all that concerned about your 'logic' regarding me not being an american!

So now I've been upgraded to a General and I suppose I'm stationed in Russia....Tell me more about me!

Nope.  The fact that you and your alter-ego are a couple of mental midgets and cowards who think that Ukraine does not have a right to self-determine their future by choosing a relationship with the West over the abusive relationship of the past few centuries with Russia.

Oh dear, I don't even know what that means!  You don't come across as a native English speaker.  Maybe you're really a Russian spy trying to discredit FT because you're jealous of him being a General.   In any case, AC, this is a forum to exchange ideas, yet somehow you continue to make things personal.  Is this some sort of insecurity?

I was curious to see when you would begin your name calling!   Ukraine can choose whatever it wants and work out the details, just don't get our nation involved in what I'm convinced would be a monumental and unnecessary war.

The facts are not personal, they are what they are.  Does it hurt your sensitive feelings to be called what you really are?  Okay, I will knock it off.

PS I thought you claimed to have a college education, yet you don't know what "alter-ego" means?  Interesting.

You tripped me up with "you are your alter-ego are".  That is obviously Russian - English translation.

Two words:  Budapest Memorandum.  In other words Ukraine has already chosen what it wants, which is why Poroshenko made a speech to the US Congress.

Nobody cares what you are convinced of.  To put it politely you have severe comprehension problems, which has been adequately illustrated by your exchanges with poster Boethius and Gator, among others.

It appears you care quite a bit...again given your own logic regarding small hands=Putin bluff...and my posts equate to being Russian General Fathertime...it doesn't bode well for much else you can say!

Don't blame me about the Budapest memo....I don't make those calls, but I do support some of the steps we have taken and the ones he haven't.

Piece by piece. The delay may not made some of us very happy--but-- if they arrive at the right result now I will settle for that.
Obama is the US President-- as such he has my respect-- and right now he is the man who can get this crisis going in the right direction.Obama and his advisors had a strategy--it has become apparent that sanctions and pressure on Russia are not enough- so give them credit for rethinking decision now.
SLAVA UKRAYINI  ! HEROYAM SLAVA!!!!
Слава Украине! Слава героям слава!Слава Україні! Слава героям!
translated as: Glory to Ukraine! Glory to the heroes!!!  is a Ukrainian greeting slogan being used now all over Ukraine to signify support for a free independent Ukraine

Not only did LFU show up just in the nick of time to try to help you out, but I notice that both of you put the ROFL before whatever statement you are trying to make.  Very interesting, as I don't think that any other posters do it in that odd way...
