A Challenge to the Members of the Forum
« on: February 16, 2015, 12:18:56 PM »
For those reading the forum it is impossible not to see the interplay regarding the Ukrainian situation.  However, over the past year, this forum (and many like it) have been dominated by political conversation.  I must confess that I am not immune to such discussion, having participated heavily.

However, I am hoping that we can circle back and do the things that help the most. (When was the last time a forum discussion helped determine the future of Russia or Ukraine?)  Those being trip reports, experiences with FSU women, advise on where and when to travel, etc.

I would challenge the membership of this forum to equal the postings:  For every post put up here regarding the conflict in Ukraine, a member would also put up something here NOT related to the conflict.

In a continued effort to balance the forum, I promise to initiate threads that will encourage posting of that nature and I believe some of my forum friends will also rise to the challenge.

Make no mistake, the Ukraine situation and all that it entails is important.  But the reason for having the forum is not only centered around political intrigue.

What say you?

I remember that thread...
Pat first mentioned that if a RW is seriously anticipating a WM's visit then she will shave down there. When I expanded the topic to talk about 'Brazilian treatment' the thread got shut down by the moderator quickly.

On a personal note the UW I am going back to see again next month, sent me some semi revealing photos as Valentine's Day gift. One of the photos gives a strong hint that she shaves down there but I cannot tell if it is a normal shave or a Brazilian. So I just have to wait until next month to find out then.  :D

The nature of the conflict has divided us into camps favoring or opposing Putin.  Healing that breach is going to take time.  I would argue that now is not the time.  I have German blood.  My grandmother was pro-Nazi all her life.  If I lived in the late 30s, I cannot see myself celebrating German culture while Hitler was winning diplomatic coup after coup.  I would with the benefit of hindsight see such nonpolitical pursuits as political and tactless.

Trip reports are dubious ventures.  I don't advise anyone from writing one.  Also people who have political views will use any information against you.

Some other topics are esoteric and appeal to only niche audiences.  I enjoy what you and Boethius write about literature.  But its easier to talk about Novorossiya kill videos than the merits of Solzhenitsyn over Bulgakov.

You are asking a lot and IMO too much.

Pat is right.  There is a warped sense of what is important on this forum.

Mendy gets continual applause for his unfortunate posts regarding food in FSU.  Such posts are very harmful to those who are overweight and addicted to food.  Yet he is allowed to continue unfettered.

And Boe continues to post fact based info which causes a lot of dissonance to those who would rather talk from emotion and warped ideas of nationalism.  Yet she cannot be shut up.

Ghost of Moon and Sandro get to throw around cultural tidbits despite fact that most of us don't even know the definition of culture.

Doug posts pictures of smiling females which are harmful to those who have no such pictures to show.

However let someone bring up some really important questions and they are shut down.

For instance consider the men who suffer from hirsutepubisobia.  The fear of excessive pubic hair.
They have a real need to determine the prevailing practices of FSUW to determine if the are a safe group to pursue.
Yet, they cannot get good info here free from censorship.

And then, there is the opposite group of men.  They fear the shaved gals because they know within a few days there will be some stubble which can cause lip burn.

These are serious issues which need discussion.

It would be great to have a dignified discussion on the sexual aspects of dating in the FSU, wouldn't it? The problem is too many like you insist on pubescent locker room discussions. One can only assume because of your inability to hold a dignified educational discussion on sexual topics in an open forum, which could be inviting to many contributors other than just old perverts. We once had many FSUW contribute here but now it's easy to understand why they don't.

Nobody cares if or what you like sexually. This isn't the place for it. Insisting on talking about if you like your pussy shaven or hairy and what the trend is in the FSU isn't for open discussion in this genre of forum. There's plenty of other forums for you to discuss your sexual preferences or hang ups. Find one of those or keep it in PM

That's awful isn't it? You're 40-50 years old and you still don't know? Nobody cares if you have a gag reflex from a pubic hair or if you prefer that your woman strap it on and drive it up your pooper checking the prostate. This isn't the place for it. How about a modicum of decorum and respect for others?  :deadhorse:

FP if you look through the archives of RWD you will find some threads talking about things like men giving their girlfriends sex toys and even squirting.
So why is it good enough to talk about in the past but not now?

I don't have to look back. I read them when they were posted. It was juvenile then and it's juvenile now. What is it about respect and class you don't understand? Would you show your mother your posts?

One can only pity the poor creature that gets saddled with the kind of bloke that posts stuff like this on an open forum! If you end up marrying this poor women the discussion about her personal grooming habits will be free to air for all, or did you mention to her before that you would be sharing this with your peers? – Classy!!!
