I knew that when I was reading Mendy's posts- it is funny to watch how people lie.

Mendy did not lie.  There is a subset of people in Russia who now blame Americans for every evil imaginable.  That is a VERY dangerous thing.  Doll, you live in America.  If there were a subset here who blamed every ill in this country on Russians, don't you think you would be more cautious about what you say or do in public?

BTW, I am sort of in a similar situation- Russian (patriot) living in the USA. I do not hide my views but yet just keep my mouth shut if it comes to this subject but mostly people do not ask stupid question (because they know what I will answer).
Anyway, my comment was about t-shirts and only. My kids have just got a big package for the little one- all Gap\Old Navy stuff WITH all English letters- believe it or not. Nobody there think of stupid things.

So it looks like the Chinese President attended that May 9 circus parade in Moscow in order to keep an eye on his newly acquired investments.

Doll, having been to the Rodina, recently and having a vastly opposing viewpoint to your own I can confirm - as a British passport holder - no animosity.

However, I do not doubt Mendy's honesty regarding hostility to people who live in Russia and don't enjoy the same ability to state opinions.

 Are you aware how many media outlets in Russia have ceased publishing / broadcasting because they fell 'foul' of Roskomnadzor?

If Putin took Hawaii instead of Crimea and refused to give it back, would you say the same thing about Merkel's visit? Shouldn't matter if it's Ukraine's or America's land Putin stole, the actions should continue to be condemned and the Putin should be isolated if a message is going to be sent to world leaders/thugs these type of aggressions won't be tolerated.
