Meet the Oligarchs

Whether you're talking Siloviki or Russian Oligarchs, the people surrounding Vladimir Putin wield great influence over the future of Russia.  I thought it might be fun to do a thread on finding out who these people are.  Those of you who wish to skip ahead, there is a website called www.therussianoligarchs.com.

Our discussion might begin with one of the most visible Oligarchs, Ramon Abramovich.

(Russian: Рома́н Арка́дьевич Абрамо́вич, born 24 October 1966) is a Russian businessman, investor and politician. He is the main owner of the private investment company Millhouse LLC. He is best known outside Russia as the owner of Chelsea Football Club, an English Premier League football team.

According to Forbes, Abramovich's net worth in 2015, was US$ 9.1 billion (2015),[3] This makes him the 12th richest person in Russia and the 137th richest person in the world.

One of the reasons I like to highlight this guy is that he has no problem finding really hot RussBabes to accompany him.  Here is his woman, Maria Sharapova giving us a glimpse into some of the perks of being a Russian Oligarch.






Any thoughts on your favorite (or least favorite) oligarch or silovik?  I would like to use this thread to create a collection of known, high profile, siloviki and oligarchs.  Please, by all means, put yours up here.  It doesn't hurt if you can show who they share their bed with.

The first photo is of Russian model Natalia Vodionova. I'm not sure she dated Abramovich. At this link you will see Abramovich's girlfriend (they might be married now).
