Vladivostok Visa Free Zone 2016

Hi everyone, I'm planning a trip to Nakhodka in March of 2016, and I noticed that a new law was passed making Vladivostok and surrounding territories (including Nakhodka) a visa free zone (visitors can stay up to 8 days). Was wondering if anyone had more details. . . does it include Americans? If I needed clarification on the issue, where is the best place to ask? Call the embassy?

Since your travel is not until March, I would wait until next year before asking for more details. Still plenty of time in the off chance you still needed a VISA. There is not much information out except for initial announcements through media. When it is the new year they should be well equipped with all the information you need. If the embassy is efficient it will have the details on their website before Jan 2016.
