My name is Joseph. I recently came across this site and decided to join the conversation. 

Sincere my divorce in 2004 I have dated I off and on. In my search of dating sites I came across a site known as Russianbrides.com which caught my attention.  I communicated with several girls on that site for a while before getting involved in another relationship locally.  After that relationship ended I went back to online dating and was now more resolute in finding a foreign Lady, from the Ukraine, thinking that they had strong family values based on my previous experience with Russianbrides.com only to find out that they had changed there name to AnastasiaDate.com.
Over the last several years I have been communicating with a couple of girls there and started hearing a lot about scams. So I did some research and did not like what I found.
I know that not all the girls are truthful and that there are those in any country that will exploit an avenue off income.  However,  mostly my experience has been positive with AnastasiaDate.com.

My question comes down to are there any reliable website out there?

Anastasiadate is the most untruthful of them all. Any positive experience you have had with them so far will turn sour as soon as you fly out to Ukraine.

Hello and welcome Joseph. As everyone else has stated, stay away from ADate and pretty much any site that asks you to pay by letter. I found my fiancé on Lucky Lovers. Elena's Models is also a good site to look.

I would ask you why did you choose to try to date am FSUW?  Are you prepared for the financial and emotional roller coaster you would go on?  It's not an easy task dating internationally, some have success, but most fail do to lack of research, not getting on a plane, falling in love with a picture and a variety of other reasons.

If you're serious about finding a good woman, do your homework/research, use common sense and ask questions here as often as you need to.

Welcome, I used lifetime partners, too bad their out of business. They did provided a great service to their clients. Some advice, most guys who start this process, are just keyboard Romeo's they just talk and talk and never go over to visit the ladies. So, I went over after only a few months, been married to Anna for over 11 years now. Just look at this as an adventure!

Reality? There isn't enough legit FSU MOB business ,
for a business here ,or there , to survive on it alone.
 So most don't operate their businesses with an actual serious client that will travel and possibly marry,  in mind.
It would be business suicide for them to.
Adate is just like any other pay per letter site. The income is
mostly from those who will never travel.
They,  or their many *in country* affiliate agencies , have a lot more success in margins by providing mostly internet chat or email services from women who arn't really looking or single, to western men who are unlikely to ever travel.
Pay per letter or pay per chat sites should be avoided period.

There are several good threads here that lists sites that might would give someone interested a bit better odds of contacting someone who is considering relocation and marriage.
Still ,even on those ,you'll find plenty of profiles that are merely from a sham local agency hiring girls to write emails for profit.

So you'll have challenges in sorting out the wheat from the chaff anyway you go, but if using par per letter sites you're starting out with a huge percentage of crap to sift through.So much so that the odds of contacting a sincere woman is slim to none.

AnastasiaDate is a pay by the letter site and pay to chat site. Your experience has
been mostly positive because, young beautiful women want to exchange letters or
chat with you. You should realize that there is a very good chance that you are
exchanging letters with an agency translator or with a girl who gets paid a commission 
to exchange letters or chat with you.

It's possible to find a good girl on the site but it's difficult. I would recommend staying
away from pay by the letter sites. There is far too much incentive for the local agency
to dip into your wallet. It's also quite common for a man to travel to the FSU and the
girl never meets him because she's never heard of him, and then the local agency tries
to get you to meet other girls.

My question comes down to are there any reliable website out there?

You say you had a positive experience with ADATE and then ask us if there's any reliable websites out there? ADATE is probably the most unreliable. Joseph, all that attention you got from ADATE probably wasn't real. You don't know if you've been trading love letters with the woman in the photos or Ivan, the employee of the month.

If you go to one of those sites don't write any letters to girls unless you fully plan to visit within
the next three months. If you write letters but don't visit you are a keyboard Romeo. Why would
it matter if you are talking to a good girl or a scammer?
