Question about calling Ukraine

To be precise-I have had paid subscription for many years that enables calls(to phone numbers) all around the world--what is newer to me is the ability to do this WITHOUT subscription .Skype has kept making changes-- not all are improvements to service .

btw-- calls to US  landlines and mobiles are no charge with subscription

I have never had any subscriptions before, although I was aware of the subscription costs, it is/was ~$8 a month USA-Ukraine, not worth the cost for me. Besides, I use Viber mostly when calling Ukraine from home for free.  Not sure what costs you have from Aussieland.
