May 9th -Victory Day- How they celebrated in Sochi

The city stopped and the main route into town became pedestrianised.



The parade started at 1000 and began with veterans in various restored cars and military transport, followed by schools and the general public - many carrying photos  of relations who died.



The column took 1.5 hours to pass and we joined in near what was the back and it grew - so much - it was impossible to see the start or finish.



Even the Dog joined in..


Everyone was friendly and a good time was had by all.
