1/ It was a yes/no referendum
2/ it was campaigned for on a tissue of lies and what was campaigned for is NOT what this govt is trying to do.

'sorry' if this is news for you, Neel.

If I remember correctly there was a bunch of left wing
kooks promising to socialize the UK if elected too.

Let me know if I got my elections mixed up.

Mobe, in most Elections there are claims of lies, it's no reason to dishonour the Election result and hold another Election, or Referendum in this case. Its down to the voters to decide what they buy into, whether something is a lie or whether or not they care. If there is Electoral fraud that's another matter. No Election or Referendum to my knowledge has ever been rerun because of a claim one of the sides lied, lol.

The ousting of nearly ever Arch Remoaner at the last General Election should have informed you exactly how the electorate felt about the Referendum result and whether there should be another. I remember the Liberal Democrats doing particularly badly including losing their party leader, lol :D

Some dream of more of this. Brexit seeks to stop it.
