First time around, first woman I met was the one and lasted 4 years.....(no marriage as she wouldn't move to the US)

Now, I have been looking for about a year with a pretty good prospect in the last month (sent her a single rose using that service to be delivered on her birthday July 25th)

I also will be speaking to her on her birthday for the first time as she has no phone but has borrowed one from a friend...

If all that goes well, I plan to head her way in September or October....

Been in the process for about 3 1/2 years.

Met a few amazing women early on (one that I still think about to this day), but let them get away because I was a stupid fool who was not mentally ready or sufficiently educated about the process to handle it.

Have made 3 trips total (2 over the past year) and met many marriage minded and suitable ladies, but whatever it is that I am looking for, I have not found yet.

Going back in October - wish me luck!

I think our early trips often go one way or the other.   Sometimes a guy falls head over heals with the first gal he meets and becomes a one week wonder.

Sometimes we meet the best woman on an early trip but are afraid to commit because it was so fast and we are afraid we will miss something down the road.  If there is a gal I have kicked myself over it was one I met on my first trip. 

Hopefully when you find it you will know it.  I wish you luck on your trip in October.   Hang in there, she will turn up.

iPod, what was the outcome of this? Were your hopes that she was infact a real woman realized?  A 25 July birthdate. I sent flowers for a 27 July birthdate. The ladies seem enjoy this attention, don't they? For the future I use a floral service that is honest, cost effective, and 100% dependable. If you are interested let me know and I will email the address to you.

I spoke to her on the phone at length and she seemed very genuine, sincere and real.....

......but, the floral delivery was not so good, no one with that name at that address or anywhere listed in the city directory.....neighbors where even asked about this woman, no one heard of her....

Time will tell then, JPC. I am happy that you had a chance to speak to her. What general area will you be heading for in September or October?  Hey...I have that connie ready to go. At least we know that is real. Will pm you about it.

A year and 8 months alter... Things have fizzled out with Larisa. I'll probably be getting back into the saddle soon, and may fly to Ukraine again to meet women at the end of October.

Photoguy, I wondered just the other day where you were. I had not seen a posting from you. I notice your reference to a saddle. I had heard several times that when one falls from the horse that it is recommended to get back on again. I forget the exact wording.
