Runaway Winner in the RWD Beauty Pageant
« on: July 26, 2006, 03:00:43 PM »
In a surprise to me (at least) Anna Kournikova came from behind in the early polling to score a runaway victory in the RWD Beauty Pageant. It is a testimony to her long-standing popularity and her many adoring fans that she managed to score this win against a bevy of stunning women.

Her nemesis on the tennis court turned out to be a mere shadow in the beauty department, with Maria Sharapova coming a distant 8th place (of 13 contestants).

Tying for 2nd place were former Miss Universe Oxana Fedorova, and another come-from-behind artist (and supermodel), Daniela Pestova.

Olga Kurbotova, Vaughn's suggested late entrant to the field, managed a 3rd place finish and ran off with more than a few hearts in the process. I particularly like the photo in the hat.

4th place found my personal favorites in a tie. My initial choice was the lovely Karolina Kurkova, though I had a VERY difficult time picking her over "bendy chick" Alina Kabaeva.

Try as I might to avoid any of the beauties being shutout, the additional photos I added for gorgeous Valentina Zelyaeva did not manage to inspire a single vote.

So there you have it. The winner and perennial favorite amongst a cadre of Russian beauties - Anna Kournikova!

The results might have been different if the RW on this board were denied the vote (IMO things have been going to hell in the US since 1919). I doubt if they are going to vote using the HRB factor (Hot Russian Babe).

Don't overlook the fact that it was Wild Orchid who nominated "bendy chick" Alina Kabaeva - quite a beauty, IMO.

Actually, I think most RW (at least, most that I've met) seem to have a very high regard for the female form and appreciate feminine beauty - much more so that their American 'sisters', who seem to feel threatened by another woman's beauty.

I sometimes confuse the two. Most AW would vote for Billy Jean King.

Fraud!!!!

I demand a recount! This poll was rigged. How in the world did Anna K. come from behind at the last minute to blow out the competion? Did someone sign up as multiple users to vote multiple times? Oh, the things people do to get their way! Maybe a lot of men are attracted to Anna after all? Their minds brainwashed by the media! I'll give them a pass if they claim insanity. We are going to have to have another beauty contest real soon to see if we get similar results.

I got three computers, 2 Apples and an HP PC. I guess I could have been bad but I wasn't.

I am so out of it with RW the I only famous RW I know are Anna Kornakova, Rasha Gorbachav, Anna Pugacheva* (the singer), Catherine the Great, Alexandra Romanoff and Anastasia her daughter.

* My first RW fiancee Irina that I passed by used to always say "Our beloved Anna Pugacheva". I thought for awhile a Russians refered to her that way. She also said "Whitney Huston and Michael Jackson are America's gifts to the world", "all blonds are fat", "all women named Irina are beautiful" and ticks (the blood sucking insects) only came to Russia after her beloved communists left power. I think she believed they were more efficient with pest control. Irina was an interesting woman.

Alrighty then. Look at this site and pick all the FSU contestants that participated. You will not find Miss Uzbekistan and others as they are not allowed to participate in events that feature the women in swimwear.
