Some FACTS for James
« Reply #50 on: January 18, 2019, 08:51:11 PM »
http://www.cdc.gov/std/herpes/stdfact-herpes.htm

USA:

"Genital herpes is common in the United States. More than one out of every six people aged 14 to 49 years have genital herpes."  (HSVII  )

So much for your "over fifty percent "...

You are confusing HSV I with II ...

How can I reduce my risk of getting genital herpes?
The only way to avoid STDs is to not have vaginal, anal, or oral sex.

So, that is why I got tested when I met a new partner - and we got tested - together ..I made an exception with one lady ... and guess what ..?    Hence I'm SO keen to pass on the risks - especially to younger men - who might want to have kids with a partner in the future

You'll excuse me if I'm bewildered as to where I was 'wrong' - especially given the creds of a fellow shareholder and biz partner who was scratching his head at some of your 'suggestions' of yesterday ..

Msmob my specialist subjects.  Tractive efficiency of military tires tyres.  Venereal diseases effecting UK men.  Third world ceasarians.   Differences in Gynecology training between UK and Ukraine to 2018.  Vehicle fuels turbocharcing and supercharging .  These are science based.  Anything else I can think of will be mearly an opinion.  Health effects of Chernobyl is another subject where anecdotal and official and other testing  does not match up.  So msmob I'm sure there are subjects you're better informed than myself.  For example Cyprus.

Wow, if ever the title of a thread was applicable ..it is mow !

When you can claim to have studied medicine at Oxbridge (specialising in gynae / obs ) get back to us....  I can only claim an A level in Biology as being close to the subject matter ..  I think 40 years of specialization in ladies bits might give my biz partner the edge ?;)

I met a wonderful lady in 2004 and rejected her because of her being afflicted with HSV I/II....THAT is when I read up on it, as my neighbour of 10 years ran the GUM clinic at Gloucester Royal Hospital and 'filled me in' ...

Ironic then that the Russian lady I thought to trust enough to NOT do a test was also afflicted ...

Re 'tire' for tyre...  IF you claim to be British... then it is wrong to spell tyre with an 'i'...

http://en.oxforddictionaries.com/definition/tire

Now...  I am beginning to 'tire of' your inability to accept your mistakes....;)

Msmob you are wrong both spellings of tire tyre are acceptable as I checked when writing my thesis.  Most forum users have noticed your ways of shouting rather than structured arguments based on facts.  I simply will not allow you to make out that herpes is a big deal.  Nice to not have is about as far as it goes.

Obviously your fantasy friend has not kept his medical knowledge up to date.  Certainly in the last 10 years doctors have trained and then specialised in gynecology  and obstectrics and Oxford is one of the best places to do so.  Now please stop mis informing people about s t d s.

Ri-ight

The UK Oxford Eng dict is wrong and James is 'correct'

It is a BIG deal for me - as not letting someone know one has it - esp HSVII -is pretty deceptive,, like you - I'd had the snip and sought a partner I could enjoy a monogamous relationship with - without worrying about 'precautions' or 'problems' ..

Obviously your fantasy friend has not kept his medical knowledge up to date.  Certainly in the last 10 years doctors have trained and then specialised in gynecology  and obstectrics and Oxford is one of the best places to do so.

1/ Only a fool would make up something like " my biz partner and friend is a RECENTLY retired Fellow of the Royal College of Gynecologists.."

How 'bout I pm you with a UK Companies House link - showing my name and his on the list of shareholders and Directors of the firm and you can link to his Linked in pages - which is not recent and has a photo

I'll include his photo with me taken in Cyprus , last week to seal the deal . The info I posted was HIS words and I think he'd know FAR better than you....

Will you be man enough to admit your HOWLER and concede he is EXACTLY who I said he was  ?

Now please stop mis informing people about s t d s.

2/ For a 'Brit' you have a strange habit of using N.American 'English.......

We refer to STDs as ST I's and some of what you wrote was - to remind you - bollox...  example ratios of folks in the west with HSVII

http://www.nhs.uk/conditions/sexually-transmitted-infections-stis/

Info specific to Genital Herpes - also from the UK's National Health Service

http://www.nhs.uk/conditions/genital-herpes/

Most of the 'BS' I've posted is from the NHS ;)

In stead of your waffle msmob and rudness msmob correct  me where I'm wrong.  Herpes can appear anywhere on the body but tends to be mouth nose and genitals.  There is anecdotal evidence that oral herpes protects from genital herpes as it's rare for a person to suffer from both.  Herpes is associated with nerve cells in which it hibernates between outbreaks.  Outbreaks can be so minor as to be unnoticeable.  You may have noticed that the nhs is multi cultural std sti  gum florey  plab1 plab2 cesr are all terms that are understood.

Men are rarely tested for hpv which can eventually lead to the death of women. Most other std sti are more easily treated in men than women and some are for life.

In stead of your waffle

'Waffle' is why someone posts bollox at length...   You are well-versed in said practice..

  correct  me where I'm wrong.

Where to start ?

It is noted you 'declined' to accept PROOF that your 'advice' was being questioned by a highly qualified medical professional ?.....

Herpes can appear anywhere on the body but tends to be mouth nose and genitals.  There is anecdotal evidence that oral herpes protects from genital herpes as it's rare for a person to suffer from both.

But NOT to have antibodies present for both and thus be a 'carrier' .....

Herpes is associated with nerve cells in which it hibernates between outbreaks.  Outbreaks can be so minor as to be unnoticeable.  You may have noticed that the nhs is multi cultural std sti  gum florey  plab1 plab2 cesr are all terms that are understood.

I noticed what the NHS and PROFESSIONALS in the UK call it ...

I've shared a life with someone for whom outbreaks flattened her - as if 'flu bound  - and she was in great discomfort' - PAIN, actually and it wasn't a pretty sight.

For about the fifth time my experiences -   be it UK / Ukraine / FSU / UK women and now this unpleasant STI   - seem to be at variance ....

Yet only one of us suggests 'fibbing' and is too scared to find out the truth - that 'other was 'mistaken'

msmob at no time did I say herpes is not painful for women or men I simply stated that you were making a big deal about being something special for having it and so sure where you caught it from http://www.russianwomendiscussion.com/Smileys/default2/3D_ClueBat.gif

James

Correct:  at no time have you discussed the symptoms and the regular debilitating tiredness ( no ''y')  many sufferers experience

To repeat - I've never HAD any symptoms - but I'm a carrier and CAN pass those symptoms on

I AM sure from whence I was gifted  - as I posted that I paid for checks - before entering into games for two and the ONLY time I didn't ....

So, that's enough of pandering to your ignorance - all that info has been posted here  - you are 'new' and could have asked to save posting daft....

When are you going to retract on the "moby is lying about is biz partner's  profession" - or do I need to rub your nose in it ?
