OK, so how did Shadow pay the fee, since others have said no one other than Dan could pay the fee ??

I'm going to say he hacked his way in and left some money. I hope he hacks into my computer next.

And what is the plan for this website when and if Dan decides to deactivate it ?

I remember way back when the previous owner (Patrick) of prior site asked who wanted to take it over.

He then chose Dan from among those who showed an interest.

I *did* offer Dan to transfer the hosting of domain name to my web hosting company as that would at least give an amount of certainty for the bills being paid on time but no answer yet.Similar I could add a VPS to host the sites with little to no extra cost, as could others.
Without calamities we should be safe until the end of May.
