Well this format is certainly better than taking the time to scribble out a full blown blog!

Anyhow, Liliya and I met online the first time in March of 2002 via ICQ instant messenger. We spent enough time chatting that we mutually became intrigued enough with one another to decide to meet "face to face" which we did in London UK in July of that year. She far surpassed all my expectations during that trip. I remember walking through Regents Park with the recollection of my parents' words from childhood "when you meet the right woman, you'll just KNOW". We finally married in Key West on November 3rd 2003. Kolya (then 5) followed to join in the summer of 2004.

We currently reside in Fort Lauderdale , FL where Lil works as a High School teacher, I work in Construction management, and the little guy has just started second grade. We've made a lot of friends (real life and cyber) here at RWD and this board as well as some similar forums before it have helped us out immeasurably, whether it be to get answers to logistical, cultural, or immigration questions; or simply to converse with other folks that "get it" as so many people one meets in their day to day life just have absolutely no clue.
