Agencies in Moscow?

Good day/Evening to all,

I would like to know if anyone has any leads of agencies in Moscow? 

Any experiences with a Moscow agency?  I am curious as to what to expect in that regard.

I've researched the Net, checked, "Gold Lists" and found sites for other cities but none for Moscow in particular.  I am planning trip there and would like a back option if my first option I plan to visit has no Sparks.  Any an all suggestions on how to find this information would be very appreciated.

I appreciate the response to my question however; I'll rephrase my question since I do not have that much time to peruse the 9,900,000 hits found in the "Google" search that was suggested.  I would like to know, are there any members out there that have knowledge or experience with a legitimate and trustworthy Moscow based local agency that they can recommend by name? 

To clarify, I am not interested in Escorts services or Nude profiles, or an agency that is less than reputable.  An example of what I’d like to find is something similar to Kiev connections, Volga Girl, Flying Hearts, etc...  The difference is I’d like to know if they exist and operate in Moscow.   

So far all my web searches have come up with repeat web sites and a lot of affiliates to larger generic data bases that do not seem very personal or legitimate.

 Contact Rvrwind (check the top site section for Tver Angels) who lives in Tver which is fairly close to Moscow and he can probably give you some ideas.

Thanks Ken,  No worries.  Now that I think about it, that was rather a humourous response...  I'll have to pay better attention next time.  After reading my initial question I realized that I wasn't very clear about what I was asking.  My fault for being a bit Vague... 

About the Nude stuff, truth is as a warm blooded male of course I like naked Women, but all in due time...    I never thought about a plan "C"...  I hope it never comes to that but as always options are good.  Thanks fellas, I'll include Tver as a list of possibilities and I will take a look at that site you mentioned in a few.

Waverider,  I think Ken was saying that Revwind (who owns an agency in Tver) might be able to recommend some good agencies in Moscow.  Richard, the owner is a very nice and helpful guy and might be able to do just that if you PM him or he reads this string. 

It sounded to me that you misread Ken's post a little.  A side trip to Tver might be good.  The gals there are not big city gals which appeals to me more,  but it sounded like you thought Ken was suggesting that and I think he was just suggesting asking Richard to recommend some agencys in Moscow.   Just trying to be helpful here.

Try this one. Its legit, but as always its an agency, so tread carefully. I have used them in the past with pretty good results. the owner is a nice guy (Andrey, yes he spells it with a "y") who speaks good English. good luck.

I've spent quite a bit of time in Moscow over the past few years and I'd recommend you forget about finding an agency there. I say this because just about every single woman I've met there:

Has a good internet connection at home, at work, or both.
Would definitely consider dating and marrying a foreigner.
Would possibly or likely place an internet personal ad.
Would never step foot in an agency.

There are plenty of available women in Moscow and there are plenty of ways to meet them. Pick up a copy of The Exile if you want to check out places where foreigners hang out. You'll find women interested in foreigners there, of course. Go to public squares, parks and shopping malls if that's your style.

If you're not up to meeting random women in public, search on ICQ, freepersonals or any popular dating site with many Muscovite profiles. There's a good chance you can land a date in an hour. I've seen it done. Ok, I've done it myself. If you're feeling you really might need that back up plan, make a few or many quick connections right before you leave. Just tell the women you meet you will be in Moscow and that you might be able to meet. No long term relationship built up and no pressure.

Another good plan is to make some connections through this board. There are plenty of folk out here who pass through Moscow or even live there. Make friends, make connections and maybe you'll meet the girl of your dreams. It's happened before.

At the very least, just plan on exploring Moscow. There is plenty to see. Seriously, what's the chance that you find the woman you'll spend the rest of your life with as an afterthought back-up plan on a trip to meet another woman? I'm sure it's happened, but chances are pretty damned slim. So just enjoy and take it easy.

I give this advice not really knowing your situation and assuming your a normal guy looking for a compatible wife. If you're looking for something completely unrealistic then an agency is probably your best bet to keep fueling the fantasy.

I think the advice you are getting is pretty good.  I do have to agree with Jooky that the toughest part of a back up plan is when you have to arrange a meeting at the last minute.  I had that happen unexpectedly on my last Moscow trip and had some gals I had been writing a long time that were not too excited when I suddenly "showed up" in Moscow.   Writing to a few back up potentials might be good.   Leave yourself open with something like, you will be in Europe and may try to get to Moscow for a few days but won't know until the last minute.  The agency route can be done on short notice.  Might be good to make some contact with Richard.  In the case of wanting to make some meetings with short notice, a trip to Tver might be a good option.  It is probably a little far to do day trips though.

Yes, that is what I meant. I guess I've been spending too much time at work lately. I'm starting to speak like management (lots of words that mean absolutely nothing and give no clarity or value to the situation) which means I will have to go drink a big glass of hemlock to get over it.

You guys are giving me a lot to think about and you add an interesting twist to my logic and thought process.   I appreciate your insight.  I believe you are correct about agencies in that an agency for me up until this point has been like a crutch in my planning process.  I’ll quickly say that I’m not looking for quick Sex, but a committed relationship. 

I’ve been corresponding with this gal from Moscow, that I found through an Internet Personal ad type agency and have to say although I am not quite smitten, as I‘ve never met her in person, I am a bit curious.  Plus, I like to travel and Moscow in general seems fascinating.  I mention that I am thinking about going there and everyone always has a comment, some good, some bad, but none the less people here are curious too.  Difference is I wanna get off my arse and go!

Having said that, I agree 100% with your comments about the back up plan as mentioned by both you and Turbo Guy.  I recently took a trip to Europe with no plan other than to go site seeing and had a blast.  I see your point.  Sometimes the best plan is no plan.  However, I think my best option is to go with plan A and then if it falls through be brave and venture out into public and use my dozen or so Russian words I’ve mastered by Nov. and see how that pans out.  There is no substitute for a face to face meeting, now is there… 

I take it the "Exile" is a local Moscow publication?

Waverider, please don't wait until you get there before you look into a back-up plan, by then you have already lost 2-3 days in going, choosing, waiting to contact, setting date. Most of us do not have these 2-3 days to be un-productive.

Prepare for your back-up plans in advance. They are still back-up plans but if the agency has your profile, knows what ladies interest you, then they are only waiting on your phone call or knock on there door.

Rim, as hard as this might be to believe, I have never used an agency in my life.  I always just bought addresses, wrote and then visited.  I was with a friend when he went to two agency offices in Kiev but that is about it.  Sorry I could not help more.
