I'm truly sorry to hear that Maxx. I don't care what people do in their lives but one reason I'm against drugs is because they shatter lives and families. Stay strong Maxx. Mourn but don't let this break you.

The only hanging that should be happening is you hanging around for your other daughter and your grand kids. Time heals. Give yourself time to heal.

I'm very sorry for your loss, Maxx.  I can imagine nothing more painful than losing a child.

I wish I had one more opportunity to have a 'straight talk' with her. I usually avoided those because she had her own mind on what was what.

Sorry to hear what happened, what was the drug? I have someone close to me who does recreational stuff, i don't lecture them as i have my own flaws i am working on (women). So i feel no room to judge and lecture them. I often think recreational drugs are okay (i haven't done even weed).

Maxx,

My deepest sympathy.

I have known you for 18 years.  You have suffered almost as much as Job.  Through it all you have remained a kind, loving, serious and forthright man.

You ability to bounce back is remarkable, and you will once again recover.   Keep conversing with us.

Heroine is the less expensive alternative to those who started with misuse of medical opioids.  It is a story numbering maybe more than a million.   IMO the pandemic likely made the situation worse:  job loss, social lockdowns.

The pandemic is causing a lot of depression. Out of 1 hour of news...it seems like they devote half++ of it citing the daily statistics and hospital admissions. It is becoming a really super major drag.

This problem she had was something my youngest daughter told me about some months back. Depression from not working since March and the political news of the cheated election didn't help her frame of mind. It wasn't a suicide. It was an accident that the hospital told my youngest daughter about.

Phil, thank you for your kind words. I started posting here or I should say that other board that no longer exists 18 years ago. I have always had a high regard for your maturity and steadiness of mind.

Today at 2 PM CST is my daughter's funeral. She passed 13 days ago. The funeral home kept her body until they got paid.

My surviving daughter got evicted from her apartment last year because she didn't have the money to pay.. According to State law she has to pay back double and even then the eviction is added to her credit history for 5-7 years (I forget which). I realize that bills have to be paid but there should be other conditions taken in factor especially in times like these. They are from liberal Democrat Minnesota.

Hillary was BTW a big fan of Alex Jones. So am I. My youngest voted for Biden. She told me she wasn't enthused about her vote unlike her vote for Bernie Sanders. I told her that Bernie lost the primary election in California to Hillary because of the Dominion voting machines. He decided to not protest the result.

I got another employee today. She is a young Indian student. She is teaching my other employee how to make an Indian style of tortillas. I pay them for 15 GEL each for 4 hours of work.

And here I always thought "liberal" meant flexible and forgiving.

What states and cities have the severest lockdowns and suspension of small businesses? They are all "liberal".

Jones was warned by Matt Drudge 3 years ago, before he went over to the dark side, that he would be deplatformed by Facebook, Youtube etc. So Jones built his own. Banned.video and got his own satellite hook ups.

Great!!!

Life goes on for you.  Many years left to enjoy your blessing of life.   And to remember the joy your young daughter gave you.

Thank you Gator.

One of the good things out of all of this was getting into contact with family I had long forgot. My brother's son and his ex-wife particularly. But there are several others too I recently have gotten in touch with.

The situation with my ex-wife was that she discouraged my daughters from having association with my side of the family. This was a situation that was on going since our marriage and only intensified after our divorce. My daughters hardly knew my side of the family except for my sister's daughters. My youngest daughter now no longer has her sister. She said to me it is only her and her mother. I told her she should grown close to her cousins and make them her friends.

My plan is get super busy setting this place up. It is 99% finished. One day of installations and repair it can be opened. The drawbacks right now is the Georgian government has restricted indoor dining and imposed a 9 PM to 5 AM curfew. Big, big fines if you found to be outdoors at that time. This goes on until at least February. I expect an extension of this.

I wrote this eulogy that was printed and distributed at her funeral.

It is those cute moments of our children that we always remember. The time Hillary ate her first chocolate dipped ice cream cone and got it all over herself. Two-year old Hillary and her Strawberry Short Cake dolls, clothes and toys. Three-year old Hillary pulling out all the clothes in the dressers and scattering them all about. When asked by her mother "Did you do this?" she said, without hesitation, "No, daddy." Hillary was fascinated with the 'Dr. Who' TV series. "Who Who" she would say and point at the TV screen wanting us to turn it on. Four-year old Hillary watching the 'The Ewok Adventure' over and over again from a well worn VHS tape. Later when Hillary went to school she wrote in her English composition that she wanted to become a hand model. She had been told from people that she had beautiful hands.

Hillary was an the honor student of Big Lake Middle School. After High School she considered joining the military. Something I recently found out. She told me that she had seen an Army recruiter and almost signed up. I was surprised to hear this! But then again I shouldn't have been. Hillary had a private nature. She was not an open book. If she wanted to tell you her opinion, she would. But could also hold back her opinion, stay silent, listen and reach her own conclusions.

Hillary this year and last felt a need to find God. She bought a Bible version she liked and started reading it. She went online and met other Christians and exchanged ideas on God and Scripture. She had a couple youtube ministers she liked. She sent me their links. She did not feel a need to gravitate to another religion. She understood it is not where you go but to whom you go to. The Shepherd is always looking for his lost sheep. He found Hillary. She will always be with us.
