The SBI is currently investigating 112 criminal cases related to military committees -the press service of the SBI.


15 indictments have been sent to court.Motives for popular offenses by officials of military committees are their own profit.Most often they help evaders to avoid the draft and go abroad.

The SBI has served a notice of suspicion to a Defence Ministry official who caused UAH 15 million ( about $401 thousand ) in losses to the state during road repairs.


" A private enterprise received more than UAH 15 million in advance but no work was performed.The money was misappropriated by the company's management and spent at their discretion " the SBI press service writes.


The Defence Ministry official is suspected of negligence in office.The sanction of the article provides for imprisonment for up to 7 years.

The office of the Prosecutor General reported the suspicion to the former people's deputy of Ukraine of the 8th convocation.


He is suspected of assisting in manipulations on the stock exchange and legalization of property obtained through criminal means.


It is noted that after aiding in the manipulation of the stock exchange the people deputy received illegal investment profits in the amount of 20 million hryvnias.

Deputy head of Odesa Regional State Administration and his accomplices will be tried for receiving $10 thousand in illegal benefits.

The head of the Belhorod -Dnistrovsk district council of the Odesa region Hryhorii Melnychenko was detained by the SSU and the Prosecutors office ,local media reports.


He is suspected of a number of crimes ,including theft of boats intended for crossing the Dnipro.

Canada plans to train Ukrainian judges and auditors to strengthen it's anti-corruption potential.
