Do you still laugh when an East European woman says...........................?

"let's go to Disco" or "I like going in Disco".  Maybe it's an American guy thing, but I crack up everytime at the way the word Disco is used.  Maybe I'm more accustomed to people saying "we're going to the club", or discotech.  When an East Euro tells me they want to go to Disco, I get various images  from the 1970's in my head.  I start thinking of Studio 54, butterfly collars, leisure suits, and those movies like Saturday Night Fever.  Did I any of you see Thank God It's Friday?  The Leather Man character (total stereotype of hispanic males) made me laugh my head off.  The dance off in Starsky & Hutch is also a total comic moment.

That sums up my idea of Disco.  If Yana says the word 'disco' over here, I'm going to get her a DVD of Roll Bounce and make her watch it.
