Kvinna, yuo wrote that you read that book and the author doesn;t have a style. I am sure you lied. And it shows who you really are. Read it and you will understand what I mean. ;) I bought it yesterday and read about 1/4 or more. I liked it. The autor has a good style and great sense of humor. My english is not perfect but I understood almpost eevrything. Bad is that the book is too expensive. Even an electronic version. I think not much people can afford to buy it. I enjoyed it. One thing is weird - how can it be that the author knows about scammers so much? He wrote their tricks and how they work Yana, the main scamer, is teaching another girl how to scam. She teach how to ask for gifts, flowers and how to get money without asking! Wow! She doesn;t even ask for money but writes things that men send her anyway! I was very impressed! If I would not a christian, I'd be a scamer!  Sorry but it seems like easy "job". They are ver sly and Yana tells how to write and what to do so the girl gets gifts and money too! It was cool to see things from the scammer side. Those girls are very smart and know the men' nature. Very informative. I'd not be a scamer but people who read that book can easily do same because those scammers look like not scammers! I was really impressed. I'll read today mor and will tell what happen later. :)
Kvinna, relax! It semmes like you are not too happy woman. Or envy. :) Nothing personal. But read forst and say. Don't lie because people won;t believe you anymore! What is a scammer? She or he lies. ;) You lied wjhen you said that you read that book.
And by the way, I am russian and don;t get any from the author. I don;t even know who is it. But I don't lie. I read some interesting and useful information on this forum so I feel tha I too can write something useful. Guys, be careful when you send flowers! Most flower agency work with scammers or are scammers themselves! Now I know how scammers make money on flower. Aa I understood, the really good scammer will never seem like a scamer. Like that Yana. So sly girl! Wow! Alex Wise did a good job! :) Alex - is it a man or a woman name?

Miranda,

May I suggest that you write an introduction about yourself and post it in the Introductions section of the board.

You see - you have only just arrived to RWD, and your posts have ALL been related to a controversial and suspicious book. It would make me (at least - and I suspect others as well), feel more comfortable with you and your motives, if we could learn a little more about you and why you chose to join RWD.

At this point, the only thing you have shared with us is that you are a Russian women and are interested in reading about scams. You also made a thin reference to being a Christian.

Please take the time to tell us about yourself. Where do you live? What is your reason for joining RWD? Are you seeking a husband? Do you have any experience with men from other countries? How old are you? And anything else you care to share so that we might get to know you better.

- Dan

I do not understand why you say the book is controvesial if you haven't read it Dan? This whole website could be controversial as well. Every tiny bit of it might seem controversial to many people. This discussion made me wonder what this book was all obout and I downloaded their electronic version. I like to read books starting from the end, so I always read the last chapter first. I can tell you that there are several happy ends with American men and Russian girls. I also read several first chapters already and because it is an easy reading book, I managed to read quite a bit already. There are several American men who go on a romantik tour to Russia and while they travel, they tell each others about their experiences with the scammers. I find this very interesting because those stories you have here in this site are not as interesting as when they are in a novel form. I never was able to read more than two or three stories here while within two hours I read dozens of stories in the books. I learned about scam scenarios that I haven't heard of before. And now I don't have much time to sit on a forum and sift through hhundreds of posts before I find a useful information while it is all in the book, not being deluted with other bla-bla-blabbing like here on forum. And its fun too. I'm glad I got this book but of course, I'll never send THIS book to the girl I know. I won't even write to her any more. Now that I look back, I see that she is 1:1 Yana the Scammer from the book. Or at least someone very similar.

Shilling activity. Need PM with explanation.

How long are these idiotic shills going to be allowed to hijack this discussion board?

Let me be quite candid. As groov said, your posts give NO appearance of objectivity - they appear to be nothing other than shill-work designed to promote the book.

As that is a violation of the Terms of Service - which you agreed to uphold when you registered at RWD - I am inclined to delete the entire string of messages.

I suggest you send me a PM explaining your agenda here. Until then, I am placing your account in "Moderated" status which means you are still allowed to post to the board, but your posts will be reviewed prior to release to the open forum.

So, dear, you suppose only you can pay for downloading this book?
or maybe you can give me a link on post where I wrote "I read this book"?
by your post I see only you are too keen to promore and to sell this book
so my point is there is nothing to waste money for

When they came for the trade unionists, I did not speak out; I was not a trade unionist. When they came for the Jews, I didn’t speak up, because I wasn't a Jew. When they came for me, there was no one left to speak out.

Так что я не боюсь во всеуслышание заявить, что роман этот читала еще в июле 2004 г., когда лондонский сценарист присылал мне синопсис "кина" все про тех же российских паршивок–скаммеров.

(my translation: I'm not afraid to state out loud that I've read this novel back in 2004, when a London screen play writer sent me a synopsis of a "movie" about those Russian scammer jerks.)

That  are your  words. ;)

Is it bad that I think 17$ is too much for a book? Why is it bad? You don;t have other reasons to prick me, I see. How smart!  ;D

mmm, seems you miss something, what was before that phrase

and before was this

И еще, у меня есть подозрение, что сюжетец романа свистнут у одного моего бывшего приятеля, киносценариста из заморского городка Лондон, тоже завсегдатая всяких там форумов.

so darling, read, read and read
also read yourself on antidate
and say hello to the author that has srolenl almoast all information from RWG and RWD as well as re-made plot of “The Twisted Love”

Am not going to waste my time. You have what you worth!  :P All honest people meet normal people. Only scammers meet scammers. It is better do not be here or antidatefdorum because you easily can get a paranoia virus. I understood that it is better to be with normal honest people. Good luck.

Can't someone give this poor guy a serious answer?
I think we did give a serious answer Jooky, several pages back.

I'll clarify:

Don't buy the book. It's a vanity press book, which means:

1)  It is not edited for factual material.  Publishers edit and correct books so they will not be responsible for publishing inaccurate material.

2) The book is "no good" because not a single "real" publisher chose to publish it.

Buyer beware.
The greater danger for most of us lies not in setting our aim too high and falling short; but in setting our aim too low, and achieving our mark.  michelangelo
