quite adorable too. And speaking of Russia, I know this very
fine woman near Irkutsk. I think there are desirable women
everywhere, even here in Phoenix, although they do not look like
hungry Rottweilers at all.  ;)   Doug

It is like my avatar... it is to show that you dont need truqst everyboy... this photo is from US, the best rest place in US in 1992... but take care of snake...  be ready before start these wonderful adventure... marery a russian or ukrainian woman is a wonderful experience but take care about the trap... educate youeself, same when it can be lead to pain ( my previous avatar )... maybe a new topic... the explain of the avatar :shock::D

Trust me, I have always had dogs at home. but I never had little dogs. little dog is not a DOG - it's just a toy, a dangerous toy. I could tell you one story about little dog. My friend still has the scar on her face.

I go share one of my experience... before, i have a good dog.. it was a pitbull... the child of my ex-wife have make a lot of pain to the dog... she was a very young child... but the dog have never make something to the child...

One day, my ex-wife have hurt the child, and the dog have attack her, for protect the child... i have need to choose between the dog and the russian wife... the two cannot life together... i have choose the wife but maybe i was wrong...

Russian woman can very go protect child but they are able to hurt him very strong physicaly... the dog have not accept this, i have not accept this and our law don't accept this... maybe a new topic...

[/quote]Pitbull is not a small dog, by the way. If your dog attacked your ex coz she punishe her child - your dog was not well-trained then. Well-trained dogs never attack people or other dogs without any command. Mine never attacks people or other dogs. If you have "a serous breed" (as we say here) dog at home - make yourself sure that you can handle it.

My dog was not trained... i have educate him myself... and i have never know problem with him with someone... the child have game with him, have use him like horse, have draw the hear and other... again without problem... the dog have only protect the child of the violence of the mother... maybe it is my fault... i have not train my ex-wife to have some respect about own child... i have choice the wife but after time, now i think that the dog was better... in my western eyes, i think that sometime, russian mother are too much strong with children... physical violence are not the solution, speaking and explain, yes...

My ex-wife have give the fault of his misluck relation with first husband to the child... she ( anastasia ) was birth with handicap... why ? Because the man was a sport man and use several drugs... he have go away when he have see the child... not, the child is fully normal ( after several operation) but i have accept her like she was in the begin... like the dog... but the wife ( Tatiana ) find always her responsible of her misluck life...

In these story, the dog was good... i hope that you understand this... and he have pay this with the dead...

I just read your recent posts and some of the later ones.  I think Doug made a very telling comment. 

What are your goals??

I have no problem with you dating whilst you are on business trips but is this all you want to do??  We have both been posting on these boards for years and I remember you posting about a woman you called Sveta.  You had fallen in love with this woman but she did not want to leave her job, city, family and friends.  So as a serious relationship you did not have a future together.

You know our requirements for a girlfriend or a wife are VERY different.  Try this simple exercise. 

Write arequirements list for a girlfriend.  Someone you can visit, vacation and have a good time with e.g. -

Great sex !

Not too demanding.

Self sufficient

Fun to be with

You get the idea.  Hey  - it is your list.  Write down your "top twenty" requirements for a girlfriend.

Now the next evening.  Do another list but this time list the qualities you would look for in someone who you would spend the rest of your life with.

I THINK YOU WILL HAVE VERY DIFFERENT LISTS.

(well when I did this for myself they were!)

Once you know how to date in FSU then there is a temptation to do so just because you can.  I call this the lure of the "Candy Store!"  I actually considered buying a flat in Kiev and spending 2-3 months a year just dating........  Then I realized that I could not spend my life as a hedonist. I would end up a lonely, alcoholic old man.  So I focused on finding a wife.

I think you need to decide what you want in your future but it is your decision.

PS  I have had a very jealous Ukrainian girlfriend.  Her Jealousy was a reflection of her own character.  She was a liar and had her own agenda so she constantly expected others to act like herself.....

i remember a saying from long ago; "when you point at someone/thing, remember, four fingers are pointing back at you".

when someone is jealous it is a reflection of themselves. they know they cannot be trusted so they trust no one else.

i only read the first page of this thread (because i saw your name) and cannot comment without reading the rest. i am still in moscow and have limited time for this, so maybe i will read it later when i have time and my high speed internet at home.
