Someone here adviced to cook home. He told, its a good way to get to know each other closer/better. Hmm...
I have a question then: how important for u to know ur lady's cooking skills? Is that so important, indeed?

Like Kuna and Bruno, I love to cook and each weekend I end up battling my fiancee because she thinks I should rest instead of cooking for us, but I truly enjoy it.

I could care less how well she cooks and it was never a factor in our courtship. That said, any guy who drops $100 each and every night on dinner during a visit to Ukraine or Russia is setting a difficult precedent -- he may be giving her the impression that this is what life will be like if she accepts his offer of marriage and moves to his country.

Three men were having a chat:

The first says:' When I got married I told my Filipino wife that I will cook, clean, wash dishes etc. but since I work full time to earn our living it will take me a few days to do this. The first two days I saw nothing but on the third day when I got home my dinner was cooked, the house was clean, the dishes were done and that how it is since then'

The Second one says:'Well when I married my Russian wife I told her on the first night that cooking, cleaning, washing etc. is her responsibility.First two days I saw nothing, third day some improvement and by the 4th day everything is as I had told her and no complains since'

The third man:'When I married my American wife I told her on the wedding night that she needs to do all the cooking, she needs to wash the dishes and the laundry, clean the house and cut the grass.First two days I did not see anything.By the third day most of the swelling had gone down and I could just see enough from the left eye to make something to eat,put the dishes in the dishwasher and go out to find a cleaner and a gardener'
