All I can tell so far is that guys who go to Russia or Ukraine tend to marry girls eleven years or more younger than they are.   Where are all you guys married to younger girls?  We need more responses to get a significant inference guys.

I know there has to be more married guys who could answer this poll.  All it shows right now is a skewed distribution of guys who tend to marry girls from the FSU eleven years or older then themselves with no real age difference between Ukraine and Russia.  Perhaps this is why guys on this board tend to stay married longer, or is it more indicative of guys who join discussion boards in general, or a different reason completely.  Then again, the number of respondents continues to be low.

Let it run for a couple of weeks as we do have a lot of part time posters/readers. Hopefully by then we'll have enough votes to see if there is a trend or not.

Funny, at the moment there are 12 ladies from Russia and 6 from Ukraine in all age catagories, yet most of the guys who do TR's seem to go to Ukraine.   Makes me think Russia is the better place to go.   Of course the totals I talked about just about perfectly reflect the poplulation percentages in total from the two countries.

Bruce, I think the guys on this board tend to stay married longer becuase they want to learn how to succeed and they aren't as jaded by agency hype and misinformation.

Well, so far 23/26 guys married girls eleven years or more younger then they are.  18/26 married girls between eleven and twenty years younger then them.  So far there really is no significant difference between the ages of women men find in Russia or Ukraine.

When this pool is over it might be fun to pool only "the guys still hunting" about what country they have been searching in.   It seems to me more guys are hunting in Ukraine and that Russia might be where they really should be going.

Agree totally with Mir! Since Ukraine has eased the visa requirements it is easier and cheaper to go there. Plus the fact that it is closer than 80% of Russia.

Don't discount Mother Russia as a destination. I'm sure glad I didn't!

12 from Russia,  6 from Ukriane?

with the relative populations of Russia vs Ukraine,

and the relative number of marriage agencies and individual listings /profile from each country,
that seems a rather accurate number?
even for being such a small poll and sample group?

many people met thru work,  or other means,
like BC and jb,
and with Russia being so much larger , with  more of those type oppurtunities,  i would expect the number of RW to be higher even than it is.

Sometime ago in a live BBC broadcast in their website I e-mail this question to Mr Putin, who was answering questions and his reply was that they keep these Visa restrictions only because of terrorist activities..........which is a bull.

The fact is that behind this Visa requirement there are many economic interests who make a lot of money and he does not dare to do the same as Yushenko did in Ukraine.

Now, does between 16 and 20 include 20 or should I have voted between 20 and 25? There is exactly 20 years difference since we were born in the same month 12 days and 20 years apart.

If that statement means you two are 20 years PLUS 12 days apart,
I'd say you're in the 20 - 25 range, 20 years LESS 12 days puts you back in the other range, you cradle robber! Hey, thanks for the avatar change - no more nightmares with the perforated elliptoids

What a coincidence!!!!. Egyptian men love much older Western women too. I guess it's in the water!! Old hearvier and wrinkled women are sexy to young Egyptian men. Who are we to say different.

On this forum a woman is 29 years older than her Egyptian guy and says he does'nt care if she cannot have children.  The rest of the oldies pipe in to say there are 11-13 year difference. Only a few women are younger than the Egyptian men, but not by more than 2 years.I guess these guys say whatever they think they need to in order to get the greencard or the greenbacks.

OK, Guys,  I have been doing a little research and my findings to me are pretty interesting.

First as I post this the totals listed for each country are

Russia  20

Ukraine 12

Now I just spent some time doing some research in the Trip Report section.   What I did was go through all 11 pages of trip reports and to try to come up with a total of where the guys are searching.    I may be off a few but this is pretty close.

There are trip reports for

50 Trips to Ukraine

29 Trips to Russia

It would seem to me that this information would indicate that the chances are about twice as good of finding the woman someone wants to spend thier life with by going to Russia than by going to Ukriane.

Sure you have to deal with a visa.   It takes me 5 minutes to apply for the visa.  Well, whatever you want to make from this I think the information is interesting.

TG

Well if there are 12 successes in Ukraine and 50 visits then the success rate is 24%
And for Russia 20 out of 29= success rate of 68%
So you are 3 times more likely to hit gold in Russia c/w Ukraine.

That settels it,it is Russia or bust. Jazzy get ready to play guide to large number of old farts looking for young ladies! :)
(yes I know that TR writers and married couples may not match)

MSpanky, your post immediately sent my mind into racist mode.  Now that I am over that.........................what were you doing on a chat board with older (I assume very fat and ugly) American women married to young Egyptians happy to escape their fate?

Lets hope more of the guys who really fit the poll vote so we get our most accurate inference.  So far no real difference.  Interesting how skewed the numbers really are on our board.  Right now the only conclusion that comes to mind is that to get married and stay married to a RW or UW you best pick one eleven years or more younger than you are.  The guys who married and are still married to the girls ten years or more younger are few and far between  ::).

P.S. Clyde, Vaugn hit it right on the head for you.  20 years plus 12 days puts you in the category 20 - 25.  If you were 19 years 353 days you would be in the category below that one. That was an error on my part, I should have made it clearer from the outset.

Who are the three guys married to girls greater than 26 years from Russia and how long have they been married?  These guys must have their sh*t together.

I got the link from another message board where the poster pointed out the ironic coincidence of the age difference on tghe Egyptian Forum. With Western women marying them, it seems the Egyptian men were more than willing to accept huge age diff of 11-29 years. Most of the ladies are actually saying how mature these men are and how some preffer much older women.

They sound very much like the guys here saying "age ain't nothing but a number". Some girl even posted she knows of a marriage where the guy is 45 and the woman 75 and they are very much in love. I'd love to hear the guys true feelings after a couple of drinks. Is he really sexually attracted to a woman that old. Or does he love her as a family member???

I didn't visit that fourm, nor do I intend to.  Are these older women moving to Egypt to live with their young boy toy?  Or, are they simply being a mule for yet another rag head to come to the USA and plant a bomb somewhere?

Kinda makes you wonder where some people's head is.

Why would'nt you visit that forum to see what the topic is about as you visit this one with much of the same topics?.   Yes, the women are coming to the U.S. with them.

If what your concern is,the fact they are being mules for terrorist as they are Egyptian men, then you should also know these old gals are going to the Caribbean,Mexico and Dominican Republic in droves with the hopes of marrying some young hard body too,so they can get their youth back somehow.

It really is no different than the guys searching for much younger gals. Sure it can me real love and physical attraction, but it rarely happens.

I know of an old gal who lives in my town married to a young caribbean black guy. She's 17 years older. After 7 years+ of marriage, he stays even though he has acquired a very good-paying job and thinks her old and ugly. He tells her to her face she is old!! My take on why he stays is Her very old father has tons of cash and she is the ONLY child. She stands to inherit it all. I have no pity for her as he in not affectionate, but she is somehow addicted to his youth and body and claims AM are fat ,white and unattractive and she can never get a man this good-looking in the U.S.. She'll end up paying for ignoring all of the red flags in her way.

I am not saying all of age-gap relationships are bad. Just a majority of them are not made from love. But more gratitude, need and the delussion the older person will not age, possibly with health issues during the time of the marriage.
