Where is the best place to buy an engagement ring in Kharkov?

Hello to all. I need some input and suggestions as to where the best place to buy an engagement ring in Kharkov would be. Ideally buying an engagement ring in the U.S.A. and bringing it to Ukraine would be best, but I would rather have it sized in Kharkov to insure the best fit and making my girl happy. I have read on these forums that many of the Jewelry stores are rip-offs in Ukraine, but I have also heard that there are a few decent jewelry stores in Ukraine that offer quality diamond rings at a decent price. All feedback is appreciated. Thanks.

Why don't you just have her measure her finger and get it here.   Don't ask her ring size.  European ring sizes are funky beyond belief.   That was where I started and I found a chart on the internet that translated Russian ring sizes to American and had I followed that it would have made a good braclet.   

I ended up having VWRW measure her finger in CM and send me the measurement and it fit perfectly.   If you do buy it here you might want to pick her brain about styles.   I would never have found something VWRW was really happy with on my own.

No, I found one that showed Russian Sizes but the conversion was terrible.  It would have had her with about a size 12 ring.  I thought to myself that I wear like a 10 or 10 1/2 or so.   I remembered looking at her fingers in Egypt and her ring finger was about the size of my little finger.   I knew it had to be off.  I spent about 2 hours googling for ring conversions but nothing really worked well.   Russian sizes seem to be based on the diameter of the finger which makes more sense than the american sizes which are arbetrary numbers or the Japaneese ones which if I remember correctly go by the "outside" diameter of the ring itself using a standard factor.

Thanks for the initial input. However, this is my bottom line; I am not debating wether to buy the ring here in the U.S.A. or Ukraine. I want to buy it in Ukraine, so, with that said, Where is the best jewelry shop in Kharkov? Surely, someone on here has bought jewelry at a Kharkov jewelry shop. Thanks.
