where do i begin?
I was up late one night and came upon a particular site that intrigued me.
one of the girls on-line was an absolute twin of an old flame,a girl that i eventually "ascertained' was from Vladivostok.We became very good friends and i even 'helped' her leave that site and start her own internet based make-up business.
i also got friendly with another girl at the same site(it was actually love at first 'site' lol) that was from St Petersburg.We talked,emailed,chatted on-line,and sms'd daily.we even went "cam to cam".
we planned to meet almost straight away;but my work commitments increased and my health deteriorated.i am on the road to recovery now,and have finally,after more than 2 years booked a trip to russia!
BUT
she ran out of money when i was in hospital,moved to a cheaper part of town,and now i cannot contact her....
some people say she has a bf now ..

i am going there in june.

not sure what my emotions will be ,if and when we finally meet...

I think several of us are on the same page ab out one of your statements.....so I'll ask directly. Did you provide this woman with any money at all? Did the money stop when you went to the hospital? If this is the case......I would make plans to meet other RW before going on your trip. I would'nt count on "finding" her without prior contanct. Read the "Tablets of Stone" on this website......for starters.

How long will your trip be?  Do you know where you are going?
Do you have a single lady to see or do you have several ladies to see?

I think everyone here hopes you have a good trip and a lot of having a good and effecient trip will be determined by the amount of pre-trip planning and work you do.

Based on what you have written it's obvious you have interest in meeting a fine Russian woman. How much work have you done in order to help insure you will be able to meet a single woman who has interest in you, how much work have you done to be able to insure you meet several women who have interest in you if your up to meeting more than one woman on your trip.

If you are going on this trip in May, June, July, you still got plenty of time if you get started.

Jazzy,i almost visited St pete 4 years ago when i was on a round the world trip.i stayed too long in helsinki and had to move on to meet friends in sicily.otherwise i would have definitley been there,to experience the people,the culture etc.Now i am visiting there for totally different reasons(although i hope to take in some of the sights as well)My 'd' is from Kolpino and her family still live there.Her latest address was somewhere near Leninskiy?I hope my detective skills will enable me to locate her in the 5 days i am there.

Jack,total trip is 6 weeks,mostly in italy/croatia.5 nights in St P.In May and June.I have kept in contact with about 6 girls there(as friends)and a couple know my "d",or have known her.

Will3,I had spinal surgery after an accident renovating a house.
as for the "alleged'' bf...well ...i have heard it from several sources,one that lives in Kolpino(when "d" lived there)which really really 'gutted' me.
and others that worked with her (in the past) and i discount as jealousy/bitchyness/heresay
i have 'd's email and phone number.she doesnt answer her phone ,nor my emails.
I have given up and have now decided to let her try to contact me.her last contacts mentioned ,no money for phone,for internet,and she had tried (unsuccessfully) to get a job at a cafe.

lolol, you gave her money to improve her life and she then moves to a cheaper part of town and you can't contact her but you're going to Russia in June to see her and her possible boyfriend. The woman could afford to spend time and possibly money to e-mail and/or webcam chat with you and other swinging dicks but she doesn't have the time to work and make money herself. But why work when you and other guys are sending money to get into her pants. I don't buy the "no strings attached" for one bit. Next time you feel like being charitable so you could feel good about yourself, give your money to starving kids in Africa instead of a pretty face.

Another Aussie... Mate, from me to you may I just say this...

You need to work out what is real and what is fantasy.  Work out what you want and then set a strategy for going and getting it!

If you're looking for marriage I personally think you're on the wrong track.  I'm sorry to say that...

I don't understand some of your post though because you're speaking in riddles but I can assure you that if you speak openly and honestly you'll get the opinions of men who have taken this path before.  You can choose to learn from that advice or ignore it.

At the moment your trip looks risky to me.  Not risky in so far as a wasted trip.. but risky because you may be ripped off or worse.

If you want to add more fact and detail your post I'm sure others will respond.  FSU is a safe place to travel if you keep your head straight and get get good advice before traveling.

Yeah... I've had a positive experience...  I wrote to about 40 women with the intention of finding "a few" who i would meet on my trip.  Some turned out to be probable scammers so I "disengaged" quickly and without regret... I continued to write to many women until I was down to about 5 or 6 who seemend genuine and compatible...  It was hardest to pick between the 5 or 6... but I knew what I wanted.  Finally, I was down to 3.

When I travelled one was playing games about meeting up... I didn't care because I had a girl that I knew very well through phone calls and emails.  I was able to call her at home, on her mobile and at her work if I wanted to.  She was genuine right from the beginning because she never talked about love, marriage, children or anything else until we met.

When we did meet she showed her interest by giving me a gift she'd knitted.  She hadn't gone into hiding and she didn't leave me wondering.  She is beautiful and funny and charismatic.. but most of all... she exists!

I tried to give her money for her train trip from Dnepropetrovsk but she refused.  If anything she was a little insulted I would offer money but I knew she'd taken a few days off work and lost income to come and meet me.  I snuck $50 into her purse before she left. When she returned home and emailed me and to say she wanted to come back to Kiev to spend my last weekend together before I left... and again I could sense her interest.  She also said she'd found the money and she wanted to return it to me... She could not accept money from a man that was not her husband!

When we met it was like someone switched on the light. I knew why she was so interesting in our correspondence and phone calls because she was real, genuine, sensible and had grace and style.

Women that accept money from you will be accepting money from others... They're known as scammers.  It doesn't matter what a person says.. it only matters what they do.  Sometimes scammers work in gangs of criminals to scam hundreds of men at the same time.  They make a very handsome income. Only one thing is certain in this journey... whatever you feel before meeting is an illusion...

In your post you say "who doesn't enjoy a good fantasy"?

I'd say that men who are serious about their lives and relationships don't appreciate fantasy.. they want reality.

I'm sorry mate... I think you've been had.. you won't find her... and if you do you can be sure to regret the moment you saw her because she will be involved with criminals that will probably steal your wallet and passport.. or worse.

Wake up man...  it's frivolous at best.. foolish at worst.

RWD is your best resource for a realistic view of the ways to find a wife in FSU.  If you're going to Russia on a holiday that's different.. If you're chasing skirt come and get a reality check here!

Oh, one other thing... The girl in the pics is very attractive.  Can you date a girl like that at home?  Come on.. be honest!  If she is well out of your league at home she'll probably be well out of your league there.  I can only imagine that you've read and believe the agency hype...  it's rubbish!  Some women are desperate to get out but they may not be the type of woman you want to spend the rest of your life with.

Read some of the horror stories in here and learn from other peoples experiences...  You need an attitude shift before you leave...

How much money did you give her?  How often did you give her money???  Come on, tell us the truth and hear what some of the experienced members in here will tell you. (I'm not experienced.. I was pretty lucky...  others have been through hell to get where I am...  I'd hate to see you go through hell too!)
