Sending money to someone you've never met...
« on: March 11, 2007, 07:09:13 PM »
We've read lolol's account of his "relationship" with the young lady in Russia.

He seems to think it was normal and acceptable to send $60,000 to her and still expects to find her if he ever travels thre.

In an effort to help him understand the depth of his delusion I thought it might help him to get a yes or no answer to a very simple question:

Is it foolish to send $60,000 to someone you've never met?

I have a feeling if he lets her know he is bringing another $ 60,000.00 for her he will have no trouble finding her.

OK, I can see if you were traveling to meet someone and to be a gentleman and offer to pay for her train fair or what have you that might come to $200 USD. But anything more then that..... Wait. Can I have his address so I can leave my big toe hanging from someplace? J/K lmao

Turbo and Kuna It's a no brainer really, a bit similar to Lolol, a no brainer.  He's just yanking the chain, because nobody IMO could possibly be that stupid.

The record from straw polling all over the websites stands at some German idiot who parted with 20 000 Euros over a period of time and even that is less that the 60k this nutter is claiming.

I/O,

I thought he was yanking at first but the more I hear from him the more serious I think he is...

If it's true he needs someone to take him for some help... he's deluded...  Hell, he has even accused us of being Kiwis!

Personally me I simply think that he is lying this Lolol

and he lied to us

in order to have fun

I doubt he ever exists , maybe that was this girl who wanted to have fun in the forum

Guys do not believe a fact that even if he is the  silliest guy in the world, he would never ever  parted with his fortune and with his money, no matter how beautiful and cool the girl was

I think he is just a lier

and of course as I/O said  a  yanker

We should help ourselves not him or her cos it was trying to send some doubts in the heads of foreign men about money

once again remember Never send anything to people you do not know , especially money

Even sending money to some one you HAVE met can be a bit delicate. Think pro dater. I have a thread in here someplace that spells out my experiences about this. You can never be too careful. Fortunately I caught on before too much damage occurred. Lesson learned.

Why do insincere people call me "old mate", "sir" and "My Friend"...

lolol,

It's ironic that just a few minutes ago I posted the following thoughts...

I believe we all want the same things.  Time, environment and circumstance can make us lose our way.  I know we're critical of AM here (most of the time) but I guess we should try to remember there are often reasons for the way some people act.

I'm in no doubt this path was the best one for me... I hope other people find happiness in their own way too.

Now you come in with that comment...

Dude... whatever makes you happy...  that's what this journey is all about.

Even if you are lying and you didn't meet her and coming back just to insult me makes you happy I say, "good onya!"

I'm certain you would have went and met this girl... found she was totally genuine... everything you've ever imagined... everything you've ever wanted... feel vindicated for your prior actions... confirmed your deep heartfelt love... and are now busily planning the wedding, children and house renovations. All I can say is I hope you post the wedding photos of your happy day so we can all share in your joy.

(can you tell I'm killing myself laughing as I write this.)

Einstein: We can all go to St Pete and meet "Our" girl.  Plenty of them charge by the hour I am told and a lot less than 60K at that.

The questions is (Apart from whether or not you've ever been outside of your own lunchtime) which girl? The girl you sent 60K, probably 80 by now or....................?

Regardless if you are still chain yanking or if you ever sent any substanitial amount of money or whatever, your view of this pursuit still makes you an idiot and there is no getting away from that.

You can buy theropy in this country for less than $100 / hour.  I suggest you spend your next $60K on that.

i/o  ... and kuna,

believe it or not..i listen to your comments .

this is after all supposed to be a forum for ALL viewpoints.

see Kuna's other post(about what other people think)and see  where most of that money went over almost 3 years.

i didn't buy my love...i merely gave someone I love a second chance at health and happiness.she NEVER asked nor implied she needed $

this is what the negative dudes amongst us need

 :cluebat:

nb: if you are ever in Peter and wonder "is that dude with that beautiful looking Slavic woman(the only man smiling in this entire city !!!) 60K lolol ?"  the answer is probably ...YES!

Hey Einstein: I'll add one to the number and it mightn't spook you so much.  It is idiots like you who get this country a bad name.  I think when this forum needs examples like you to learn from we'll all just have our own private little "Waco" and all shoot ourselves.

Do you realise that the American guys who started this board have been generous enough to allow a few of us Aussies on here to share and learn a little.  After an example such as you, I couldn't complain if they asked all of us to leave. Heard the word "Embarressing"? Well sport, you are the definition there of.
