I asked MANY questions right off the bat. They were the stupid questions that the vets get tired of answering over and over and over again. 

Almost all the members were patient and helpful with me. It is a good place. 

I would have used the "search" feature and read more historical posts, however ... if I ha it all to do over again.  The Trip Report topic area clearly provides the greatest understanding of this adventure.

 Welcome to our little playground! Yes, read through the Trip Reports and the FAQs. You'll have a lot of your questions answered there.

 As for being gentle with you. I hate to tell you this but it is mandatory that you attend the first two New Member Beatings. One is Thursday at 9 PM and the next is Saturday morning at 10:30. The following beatings are optional for those here who like that sort of thing.
