I work as a translator and assistant for guys who come to ukraine. Recently, after a client became suspicious, he asked to check out www.ualadys.com. I wanted to pop in and see how things are working in the branch, so i phoned them up, and the agency would not even give me their office address! (stating that they only ever give out their address to payed members)
In 2 years of doing this ive never come across such a thing. its absolutely ridiculous that a legitimate business would be so secretive. Also, they give out no details whatsoever about the girls in an attempt to suck you in to using exclusively them for their (high-priced) services when you travel to ukraine.

Only for unregistered visitors (registration is free, opening received letters is free, everything else has a price). And yes, as Livinginukraine says, they strive to maintain a monopoly on your communications, for obvious reasons. An interesting lady from that site contacted me, and I am waiting to see whether I can get around that through an agency-mediated phone call (we don't need an interpreter).

Just to let you know, they are really a scam. Are you sure the lady contacted you really ? I know married or engaged ladies who are still on this site. Even got a story about one who was dead.  All letters are 95% bullshit. If you do not believe me (I have been there), search for confidential connections on Ukrainian translators CV , you can find some ... contact them and hear the story ...

For sure UALADIES is a scam.  Formerly they were named Confidential Connections and a couple months ago changed the name but not the modus operandi.
