Wayne,

Big Congratulations!! What is your timeframe for her arrival here?

Have you started cleaning the house yet? Checked your area for ESL Classes? FSU food stores? Gotten rid of all letter/pictures of old GF's?  ;D

The easy part is over. The hardest and best part is about to begin!

Good luck and keep us informed.

Ken, Anna likes the red cavier (yuck) I have that covered! My question is, when I am at work an Anna steps outside...and a 'lizard' jumps on her shoulder.....how far will a Ukrainian woman run? Will I be able to find her when I come home from work? ;D

No problem at all... she will be home and your evening meal will be a grilled "lizard"...

One of the question of my ex wife was : why people feed wild duck in the city park, in place of eat them ?

FSU girls are very practical... and few are afraid of spider and other beast like our western girls !

Just in case you don't end up with grilled lizard like Bruno mentioned you might want to get her a cell phone so you can call and find out where she ended up...

There are many different types of caviar and I'm sure you will find one that you can handle, maybe even like. I like the small red and the black but not so much the big red stuff. Don't worry, you'll have plenty of chances to find out about new foods.

Congratulations!!!!
I know you said you had bought tickets already--do you think you will need to change them?
N has decided that she will arrive May1--holiday, so the whole family can see her off.
I'll let you know exactly how long it takes to get her passport back

Congrats and good luck, Wayne.

I hope you can take as much vacation time as possible when she arrives to get her settled and living as independently as possible before you have to go back to work!

If a man doesn't like caviar, why would he want to get involved with a Russian woman?  What, for example, will he do when she wants those foul smelling pickled cod fish livers?  Part of the compatibility issue is what gets put on the holiday table.  For a Russian,,, that's caviar and stinky pickled fish parts soaked in smetana.  On the everyday table almost anything will do if its tasty and filling, but holidays are special,,, I can't imagine not having those funny smelly little fishes she likes so much.

And, yes, you do have to try them.  It just goes with being married to a Russian.

Good luck to you, Wayne

Anna is very strong in her belief's of loving nature! We will soon see ;D

Good luck to you, Wayne  jb, I like the small black caviar but, Anna prefers the large red caviar....and I ate this for the first time with her during breakfast...and no...it is horrible! and liver of any kind....I am not there yet! MY Father, could eat any liver from any animal.... I will have to also say that I do not like beet's either but, Anna's Mama cooked Borsch for breakfast!!!! I could not get enough, very very good!  jb, they also boiled pork bones and made a type of dip after they let the hot liquid cool...like a semi clear gelatin, very tasty!  They also rendered the pork/hog fat, and made another type of dip? I will mis-spell 'sallow'? I could see my arteries stopping up after that dish ;)

Olga, you are reminding me of when I was a child....The cure all then was a spoon full of 'cod liver oil' My mother would give this awful liquid anytime that she thought I was in need of preventative medicine! According to her, it would cure all illnesses, make your marriage more healthy, fix your income taxe's ect;  ;D  Now that you have reminded me of a past nite-mare ;D I wonder...if we were to force this 'nasty' liquid upon or children today...would we not be reported to 'CPS'  ;D

WayneB,

I remember this awful liquid too  ;D but I liked it when I was a child and my parents were hiding it  ;D

In Russia you still can find it in a pharmacy  :)

The investigation of British  scientists has shown that the fish oil helps to prevents the progress of arthrosis.

Ahh Bruno I have 1st hand experience quite the opposite of yours.  J absolutely hated bugs lizards and all else that crawls.  Every time we saw a lizard she would mutter something like "uuzhas" and walk so that I was between them and her.  And one morning she declared she did not sleep the night before because she saw some ants on the endtable the night before.  YMMV
