Actually I was just sitting here thinking about all our sanity.    I read here about all the Alpha male bit and taking charge and showing who is in control.

I was just reading a thread over at VJ about food and it is full of "She makes me eat vegetables"   I am a burger and coke guy but she forces me to eat borsh but I guess it is healthy for me.   She does not let me eat fast food but once in a while I sneak out and get some.   Hummm, yep, Alpha males the whole lot of us.   Sorry to be off topic.

PS,  VWRW is a Mango eating machine and except for the banana and yogurt sandwiches she eats for breakfast is practically living on Mangos.

Ok so I have read so much on this site about planning and setting up dates through agencies and which sites are scammers etc. etc.

Here is my question... Would you recommend going there without any of this planning? I am not real big on paying for tours, dates, phone #'s or addresses etc. Is this a necessity? Does it really up your odds that much? Also, what about the safety there? Would you recommend an American go there alone?

It seems like your purpose is to meet women, right?  I would recommend hooking up with a reputable agency and let them help smooth things out for you. (Apartment rental, airport transportation, interpreter)  You might even want to make prior contact with a few ladies in order to sort out the ones you would want to meet.  You can always cut your ties and go independent after you get your feet on the ground and get your bearings a bit.  I don't think it is necessary to structure every single moment of your trip, but to completely "wing it" seems like a big risk to me.  The risk being you wasting your time, energy and money to accomplish little or nothing.
