Is is true what I have just read at www.agencyscams.com/Why/e700.html about European Connections being a "scam"?

As I have just started corresponding with a lady from Globaladies.com and I am starting to like her alot and I am very upset now that she could be a scammer. 

Please help.

I would be careful of any "list" which places A Foreign Affair (AFA) on their "Gold List". That outfit has been well known as a major scam for years.

Jim has in the past posted information claiming scam that was not correct.

And I would take anything that comes from agencyscams.com with two grains of salt and a couple of shots of something very strong. Maybe Bacardi 151.

There are good ladies at bad agencies and bad ladies at good agencies. The better the agency and the more personal contact they have with the lady the better your chances are of being successful.

I think that Oskana could be a scammer because:

• Oskana (from Kerch) suddenly wrote to me out of the blue, which I found strange as all I had on my profile at Globaladies.com was my name and the area that I live in (U.K.)
• I have corresponded with Oskana on a few occasions now and she never answers all of my questions and I have to end up asking the same questions again in my next emails.
• What I had read about European Connections on Jim's and other sites.

I have been burnt so many times in the past (from ladies in the U.K. and one from the U.S.) that I want to be 100% certain that Oskana is genuine and isn't trying to fleece me.

After what I have read about Jim in this forum I wouldn't have taken any notice of what his lists say, however I have also read in a few other forums that European Connections are a scam agency.

If you cannot get one or the other, then you need to move on and you keep moving on until you can get such contact information from any woman who interests you.

Write EC and ask "What will it take, how much money will it take for me to get Oksana's contact information?".   If they can't tell you, then what are you going to do, continue to exchange these micky-mouse replies for years?  Of course not.  At some point EVERY agency must be able to tell you when or how much it will cost you to get the woman's contact information and if they cannot, then you have to move on.

If you cannot get a woman's direct contact information, you have NOTHING.

When I decided to pursue FSUW in my search - I found hotrussianbrides.com and signed up.  It took me only 24 hours to figure out that I would probably never be able to get real contact information.  And 100 new emails a day seemed a bit over the top.

In any case...  Jack is very experienced at this - as well as some of us newcomers also when it comes to the very early stages.

Use an honest site or agency.  www.elenasmodels.com is the one I used.  I had women's real contact information after only 2 or 3 days there.  Took me not much longer than that to find my current fiancee - and she IS very real.

andy, I am going to whey in here a little bit....I used an agency for meeting the women that I have for the last 4 years.....every girl except for one...I met in person, in their city....and I also met my wife through this same agency.....Army of Brides...affiliate in Kharkov was Belanoff agency...According to some posters here....these two sites are among the worst in the business :noidea:....never saw any one come forward with proof...to make their point..... only heresay....So don't always believe everything that you read....especially the major U.S. new papers of doom and gloom N Y Times, Washington Post, L A Whatever.....Do your home work, and look for red flags

But I checked the price structure.  I think you need an economics degree to predict how much money you will spend their accurately.  Not saying it's too much, just noting the pricing is complicated.

I am after 5-6 years I still get spammed!! And I have been married for 4+ of those years! A dozen or more letter per week! Fromsmokinhotkova 20 year olds that I have absolutely no interest in!
They may have some real & nice ladies, but the spam never stops & I HATE spam!! Not only is it immoral, it is intrusive & should not be condoned!
Tons of spam letters from women who do not even fit your criteria just so you will pop the top & pay for the letter. Does that sound like a legitimate company to you? If it does your ideas of legitimate & mine are at opposite ends of the pole!
As for thier affiliate it is possible that they are somewhat legitimate but as the saying goes you reflect who you associate with, be that in personal life or business.

European Connections and it's various names is a clearing house of sorts. They accumulate profiles from "local agencies". The scamming goes on at the local level although they don't do anything to police it. I think almost universaly the local agencies send out introductory letters to guys inthe data base without the girl expressing interest upfront. If a guy responds then either bogus correspondence continues from the local level or the real lady is shown the letters and if intereested continues otherwise you get an I've found my match letter after the third or fourth letter. I can say that some of the girls are real and interested in meeting someone. I made a trip to Ukraine in March where I met ladies from several cities through the site. After a couple of letters Told them I was planning a trip soon and I asked for phone numbers and pretty much accross the board got them. I made arrangements to meet each of them in Kiev and they paid their own way to get there. No one asked for money up front and one asked if I would cover her transportation costs when we met in Kiev. There was no further agency involvement, no "meeting" fee, no agency translator, no further agency financial gain, and the girls showed up. All the translating is done locally. European Connections just forwards the mail. On the other hand I was recently in Tver and things were'nt panning out with what I was doing so I emailed 4 ladies from the global ladies site and sent my local cell number in Tver with the note telling them I was in town. I did'nt hear from any before I left but after I returned got letters from all, no phone numbers returned but one said "i'd be glad to meet you. Come to the agency and they will arrange everything. " And she gave the agency name....BeHappy... The moral of the story. Lots of the girls are real and associated with apparently decent agencies, some aren't real, others are real and associated with thieves whether they know it or not. Unfortunitly European Connections is not going to give you the name of the local agency and I think by agreement the local agencies don't provide it. In this case they smelled money and thought I would walk over and pay to be introduced to these girls and told me who they were.
