Just wanted to say hi. Admittedly I was motivated to join because my recent RW relationship was a big flop. I figured RWD is a good place to learn how to get it right next time and maybe help someone else out too along the way.

It is good that your bad experience did not turn you aganist women from the FSU and that you are still looking there.  The happily married men here (and there are many) attest to the joy of finding a good FSU woman.

I notice that you have made several trips to the FSU.  Anything you wish to share?

Well I learned the hard way that the particular women I had met from the FCU tended to be rather more volatile [emotionally] than what I am used to here at home, but that's ok.   Interestingly while browzing I found a recent thread by another member that wrote about this same thing.

Hello Steve,
   Just wanted to chime in here and tell you welcome, like you I too had a relationship with Russian woman that failed. But threw persistence and determination, I have found the RW that is just perfect for me. I will tell you that there is not an AW relationship I have had in the last 20 years that makes me feel the way my Ol'ya makes me feel. When you find the right Russian woman, there is no denying it. Be prepared to get hit by a locomotive and be knocked over.             Again Welcome and the best of luck!

     Volatility is not quite the right word.  Substitute passion (not specifically sexual0 and you are a bit closer.  The lows can be a real test of the patience, but the highs more than make up for it.

Even the low points are high points when I see how My Girl handles them... Such power in her conviction and good intentions in her heart... A wonderful mix!
