Definitely, I recognise the vacant look and deep-sunken eyes from countless nights spent bent over old fart$ shards of pottery and yellowed complexions manuscripts .

I don't know about his daughter-in-law, but King Gustav VI was often poking the dirt here, particularly in Tuscany IIRC

I just wonder...  Where and how could he find any free time for poking the dirt having 6 children?

Well, I do remember a frontally-bouncing type furiously wielding her wire-mesh sieve but, alas, I had no camera with me at the time to record her for posterity (and Marusya's horror ).

A professional ALWAYS handles old manuscripts wearing fine cotton gloves. Shards require less delicacy, though .

How nice just 4.5 years...  Is it a typical male calculation?    During pregnancies a woman get a moral support, and then she bears all severities of children upbringing on her shoulders alone,  and plus cleans up the mess after her poking the dirt husband
