My Daughter Tamara has arrived

Tamara was born yesterday evening weighing 3370 grams (just over 7lbs).  Mum and baby are fine.  We do not publish photos on the internet but my friends here can send me a PM and I will reply with pix.

Big Congatulations on the new arrival~!  I'd have loved to be the 1st to say hello to the new babe, but Etna and I are busily moving into new digs here so things are a bit hectic an BC did a good job of it for us.

BTW, I love the name "Tamara".

Congratulations!! Such happy news! The first few weeks might be a little tough and not so much fun but it will get much better! There is so much to look forward to - her first smile, first tooth, first hug... My precious baby-boy is 6 months now ... we have 3 proud teeth and we're a handful already! I'm scared to think what a mess everything will be when he starts walking!! :shock: Nevertheless, it's such a joy!

Thank you all for your kind wishes.

 

We have all had some time to decompress from the events in the delivery suite last Thursday.  Natasha (my wife) and Tamara will be home tomorrow morning.  It is our first child.  I can tell already that Tamara has attitude.  Natasha was the youngest child - so she has no experience with babies.  

 

I reckon we are in for an interesting few weeks!

What an understatement!! :D  18 months here and the 'interesting' factor still growing.

You will likely soon shake your head at the housefull of 'essential' baby accessories and wonder how cavemen and women did it... they call this progress?
