Other FSU countries ?

This is interesting to me as an FSU woman who is not Russian.

People do not seem to realize that FSU was a huge place with many cultures and many Republics.  For example I am Moldovan not Russian. Ethnically Moldovan's are a Roman people with more in common (language and culture) with other Roman peoples as Moldova was part of Romania until it was cut in half and became part of the Soviet Union. 

There is actually a Moldovan part of Romania, the other half of the original Moldova.

Here is a way you can look at it and divide up the FSU.  Culturally and historically there are many differences between us. Some good, some bad.
