I found myself nodding my head in agreement as I read your post.  the competition factor among some RW is amazing!  We have one friend that had her man purchase the same car as Lena's and even got the same color.  If Lena purchases a new hand bag, the other gal runs out the next day to get one.  It has almost become a source of humor.  I say "almost" because it is also a source of irritation too.  On this RW's last birthday, Lena bought her a matching blouse that Lena had recently purchased and told the other RW, "I thought I would save you the trouble of trying to find it."

Your post on status and class above describes my fiance 100%.  I think this is a big reason why a lot of girls divorce their American men.  During the dating process AM and RW really need to make sure they understand each other and be honest.  I know several Russian women in Milwaukee who divorced due to AM not telling them the truth on their position in life.

My fiance has a friend in Kiev like the girl you mentioned.  We actually play games with her about telling her how my fiance is going to get this and that (she thinks were serious and were just making these items up).  Than after her foreign boyfriend(s) buys these things my fiance tells her she really should not have bought it.   This girl is a good friend to me and my fiance but has very bad character for being a potential wife.  Beware men as this girl is always listed in most popular section of Elena models.
