How can I find a person in U.S.?
« on: March 18, 2008, 01:38:27 AM »
I am thinking about this as there are some interesting men at Elenas Models who are Silver nonpaying members and cannot return my interest.
Are there any ways I can find them independently?

From a Silver member, here is what we know:

-his first name
-year of birth
- town and state
- profession, probably some professional degrees

The Gold members have a disclosure page, where women can find their last names and postal codes, but not Silver members.

Any online directories? any ideas?

Also I think that if I succeed to find the man, my chances appear to be good as probably not many women would be ready to spend that efforts for the man who posted his profile online but cannot contact women.

Try googling their nicknames (if they have one).  Often folks on forums use the same nickname as their email accounts.  You could email standard email services such as @gmail, @yahoo etc etc.. might get lucky.

Otherwise there are many paid services that might be able to help for a few bucks.

I would also venture that most men would be very flattered that you'd gone to all the effort and be more receptive as a result.

Other than that I can't help you much unless you are looking in Norway; there are a number of online directories here like www.1881.no which may help if you know first name and town (unless it's a big city like Oslo, then the number of hits will be huge).

It's possible to look up people and check their taxes too and search by first name, then at least you get their year of birth too; http://www.nettavisen.no/skattelister

There are things like the internet White Pages.. but you would need the last name.. and of course the city.. but that would (If your lucky) get their phone number... further info can sometimes be found if your willing to pay a fee.

My last name is not a common one, but if I do a search in the White pages with my first and last name, that doesn't use my city, I find that there are like 130 people in the US with my same name !

Google might also work.. depends.. If they have put their email into a web page of some kind it might be found.. For me there are a couple of forums that I use the same nick as my email (although this and my dating sites are not) so that's not a bad idea.. I personally have the same nick for hotmail, excite, and yahoo

Why not try what my sister-in-law did.  Apply to the US on a tourist visa.  If you get in, and you may, you can hang out somewhere and let the suitors pile on..............

Actually, you might just try a google search with the info you have.. both with and without the nick.. You might get lucky and find them on another site with an easier way to contact them.

Yes, it is good if they have some unique nickname. But what if they register at EM just with their normal first name?

SJ, thanks for the Norvegian info. At the moment I look for U.S. options.

This site is good: http://www.whowhere.lycos.com/   Heh, if they only how their last names as part of nicknames .... :(

I don't understand why would you contact these men off the dating site if they don't return your interest. Non-paying members will upgrade to paying members when they want to contact a woman. It's hard to believe they lack that amount of money which is necessary for a month full membership (if yes, would you be still interested in them?) and they wait for some kind of action from your part. This totally contradicts to my online and offline dating experiences.

I let my membership lapse in EM because I was not happy with the ladies that I was meeting there.
So EM has put me on silver membership (I didn't ask them to do this) I still get letters but I am not going to
read them. I joined LL (lucky lovers) and I'm happier there

Lily,

A couple things.

First - finding this person outside of Elena's will probably be next to impossible.

The simplest way to contact him would probably be to write Elena's models staff and see how they can help you.

Next - and more important I think...  How serious do you think this man is if he is only a silver member?  Granted maybe you can pique his interest - but it's not there right now.

Good luck.

BF: No he can't read any of the letters he receives until he pays to upgrade his membership.

Lilly, I googled my handle 2tallbill and I found 4 pages on google. 80% of those pages applied to me.

Is there a way to even see if he regularly checks his EM box or when last logged on?

-might already be a 'goner'

Guess guys on the 'cheap' might want to sign up using a form of their email addy..

johnnybyahoo

Of course some of the dating sites probably know this 'trick' and might adjust things accordingly.

But I don't give up  :)

Don't spend too much time on one guy who may or most likely may not be the one.

YOU need more exposure Lily! Sign up for other sites such as bride.ru etc.... If things get slow, update your profile to get to get back to the front. We at RWD will help with choosing your best photos and maybe we'll even chip in money for a bikini. ;D

The truth is most guys don't put too much stock into letter writing and they can't see your wonderful personality and don't understand how bright you are through long distance communication. Also, you're not a bad looking woman either. That's unfortunate they don't take the time to know you past your photo's and that's their loss. Most of us here understand your qualities based on what and how you write.

Your perfect match is out there and maybe he's not at Elena's models. If you have the time, put in the effort. Don't place limits on where you post a profile.
Fund the audits, spread the word and educate people, write your politicians and other elected officials. Stay active in the fight to save our country. Over 220 generals and admirals say we are in a fight for our survival like no other time since 1776.

Billy I just checked her profile and she has some very nice photos. I didn't recognize her the first time through the search. (I searched women 40-44 who live in Moscow) and I went right past her photo even though I was looking for her from the photos I have seen here or on her old myspace profile.

Hey, Lily,
Well, if you are looking for me.... look no further!!! ;)  Seriously, googling is probably your best option.  It may take a few stabs at it and lots of clicking, but that is probably your best bet.  Now, if you are interested in..... oh, never mind.  Can't blame me for trying though, can you?
Thanks,

Billy I just checked her profile and she has some very nice photos.

I agree and of course I was joking about the need for a bikini photo.

Beautiful women at those sites are dime a dozen. The fine qualities of a woman's brains and heart are usually overlooked because a guy doesn't take the time to know a woman before commiting to a visit so he's basically visiting a stranger.

I like the way Lily wrote her profile. she has a lot to offer and admire and she has the right to be choosy when it comes to men.

Folks, thank you all! Found the name, address, zipcode and phone. In fact, it appears to women when they contact the man for the very first time. Women cannot see his name, place, etc for the second or other times.
Pity no email.

dneid, if more men ( and women) from EM would be active on RWD, life would be much better!  ;D

Will see what EM replies on my request whether I can purchase single emails of Silver Members.
