Some thougths by a newbie!

You have a good attitude.  I too liked challenges when dating RW.  I failed with one and almost with another.

and WHY do FSUW lie about their ages, and leave other profiles up which show another age...?!  Surely, IF they are really seeking a serious man - should they start with a lie ?!!

While you have noted some women stretching the truth, my experience is that all RW were honest about their age, and 90% were even honest about their weight. 

I did encounter a few with old photos.

Overall, I would say that RW are much more forthright about age, weight and photos than AW.  In fact, most American sites do not allow entry for weight and use terms such as "slender" or "athletic" or "average."

Nevertheless, it always is advisable to trade recent amateur photos with each other.

But I just feel, at this point, that we have to much good things going on to let the practicalities ruin it. Yes it is too soon to say anything for certain. But the feeling is growing every day. And I also think that most of the "practicalaties" will work out. Basically her bigest concern is to be able to visit her family regualrily. From Helsinki it is a drie of about 500 km, so that is not really a big deal

Hi Gator, my example from the post above shows different - and if I was still active on the dating scene I could easily find you many more...  I know of one VERY attractive , successful, russian lady who would be 38 - was on new sites as 33 - she was worried no man would find her as they stopped looking over 35

Not qualified to compare AW, but BOY are many "older" FSUW "fibbing".. The CRAZY thing is they don't NEED to do it ..

There's a category of FSUW who never age: hookers !

Their profiles usually show their age at the time of registration, NOT their birthdate (from which their current age could be calculated and shown by site SW), so they enjoy an eternal youth .

Hi Sandro, I'm SURE you weren't inferring that all ( or even most) FSUW who lie about their ages are hookers.. 

I personally know of three FSUW who have lied about their age, purely because they felt it would improve their chances... to the best of my knowledge 2 of them of still on the dating scene - they are in their mid / late forties and live in Cyprus.

Knowing them as I do - and having watched men in their twenties and thirties ( let alone their forties and fifties ) tongues drop out when they walk along the beach in THONGS - I just don't understand why they fib.. 

Both their husbands were Millionaires who thought that it was acceptable to take hookers when on business and they sacrificed luxurious life-styles rather than tolerate the antics and sought divorces...

Hey Divergoy! Have you already finished your second visit? I forget. (I know I could probably just check the trip reports, but I'm lazy!) If things are getting serious and you want to know if she really loves you, you can always give her the "chicken suit and handcuffs" test.   (Just kidding !! LOL)
