My wife, growing up in Soviet Union was never a cheer leader of course. But knowing her as I do now, she would have loved it - as would've all the fans too!

Of course i know that, but i see this for the first time with cheerleaders, they never wear them here, it's definitely not beautiful...

Yeah, no joke.  I didn't even notice that they were wearing knee pads the first time I looked... it wasn't until Anastassia said something that I went back and looked and then I saw them.

I guess men and women look at these pictures differently!

I think cheerleaders have a really important role to play at games. Who doesn't love to watch them? Usually this gets the crowd really enthusiastic.

I'd rather watch the cheerleaders than most of the sports they are cheering for. In general I am not a "watcher", I am a "doer". I'd rather participate than watch.

What I want to see is cheerleaders for NASCAR! Now that woud be a hoot! I could only imagine what the girls would look like for Dale Jr's team. All in black, white boots, short skirts. Heyyyy! They'd look some of the RW in the thread referenced here. 

Let's take one step further and have a NASCAR race in Moscow. You had Formula 1 there, what not NASCAR? Hell the Russians already have their own version of moonshine aka "chisti spirit" and that is how NASCAR got its start here by all the bootleggers runnin' the 'shine. My good ol' grandpappy was a moonshiner. I can still build a pretty decent still 'til this day.

Now give the moonshine the the cheerleaders and let's have a really interesting shindig!
