Dear author, I skimmed through this topic quickly...
Honestly, I don't know many women of 30+ age in Ukraine or Russia who give "little romantic gifts" or behave in such way. this kind of behavior is typical for young ladies who understand love and relationship as "chocolate and roses" first of all. Older women in FSU tend to express their love in more... let's say, grown up way. Besides, she probably has other "everyday" things in her mind, so she just has no time to think about how can I surprise him today or what to create in order to make him happy... she would do these things but probably for a special occasion, like ur birthday, Christmas or anniversary.
