Several very clever men here told me a year ago, that dollar will cost 10 UAH in Ukraine. I didn't believe, of course, because it was 5 Now it is almost 10 (9,5, to be more precise) So, what are economic predictions for the next year? Does it have any sence to buy up dollars now or hryvna will fight back?
Speaking seriously, it seems to me that our economy is heading towards default...

As a situation in Ukrainian economic has changed, and 1 dollar cost 8-9 hrivnas, it make Ukraine the most profitable place for foreigners to visit. As they have dollars, which costs 8 hryvna, in fact they have a discount -30% for all services in compare with 2008. www.dneprapartments.com

Artur: As your apartments are priced in dollars, have you reduced them by 30% in the past couple of months?

  (1) If your American then buy Euro's at 1.118 or lower and will be at about March or sooner.

  (2) If You are European then maybe buy dollars because they will work better then at the price now right?

  (3) The economies of most western countries will fall or flatline until 2010 but as it falls we should buy substance that will not fall and when the gains appear again sell at whatever profit you like without a greedy mind.
