Well it is quite clear to me, in the early days when FSU women started looking for WM he got to bed a few, now he has been exposed and is unable to find any more women from FSU to seduce so he spends his time chasing pretty scammers  and fantasizing what he will do if she turns out to be real and meets him

I was not going to get into this until I was done with all my confessions... for I still have to confess about Natasha (from Volgograd), my ex-wife (Yuliya from Omsk), and Ksenia (from Yekaterinburg) which will be even MORE interesting than all of my previous postings.
And by the way, when I start talking about my ex-wife, I hope I will be redeeming myself a bit, because she was - to a large degree - the perfect picture of the RW we are all looking for: a sincere, content, quite attractive, faithful, family-orinted, kind-hearted woman.

For now I'll provide some quick short answers, if only to partially satisfy an intrigued mind.
After all, I was hoping I would stir-up - not only controversy and the expected attacks, but also - a deeper discussion, a frank look - at the Russian Dating scene.
Sure I have a skewed opinion (but don't we all?) shaped by my own experiences and - more importantly - by my own failures.
Failures brought on - of course I admit - by my own shortcomings. Many would call these shortcomings sex addiction, folly, craziness, mental instability, un-social behavior...
OK, whatever...
Keep in mind, after all, that these are but the ramblings of an angry, bitter divorced man who's spent about 10 years pursuing the Russian Nirvana. You know... the Nirvana you peer into - from the outside - when you start looking at profiles of hundreds of beautifil, young men.

So, the question is 2-part: (1) why continue with Yana and (2) why more RW after Yana
Let me start by commenting on your own possible answers:

Here are the young, sexy pretty women ready, willing and wanting and it costs you far less to wine and dine them that what would cost you back in America.
Then, imagine yourself feeling so wanted and so spoiled by beautiful women who make you feel like a Million Dollar. And they have many motives for doing so.

Back in 2000, I had written a long trip report about my first trip to Kiev in which I met Yana.
At the end of my report, I wrote something to the following effect:

That's just the reality of things, and why ED drugs are SO hugely popular... and expensive.

When you receive the very first email, and even though it is usually a canned pre-written letter, you don't know just yet if she's real or just another scammer.
The scam becomes more abvious when the usual red flags go up. By then you have already developed some rapport with the pretty face in the pictures.
For me - in semi-retirement with plenty of free time on my hand - I find a sadistic pleasure in keeping the scammer's hope up for a Western Union money transfer; for as long as possible.
Some of the scammers I wrote to went to a bank with a fake MTCN so many times that I cannot stop laughing imagining the picture. I know it sounds childish, but I am just having fun... actually a blast with this!

Suppose I take this rather cunningly designed bright yellow and red flyer describing an Australian pedophile and use my admittedly pitiful Photoshop skills replace it with your picture and pertinent information as to description, location and criminal activity in Florida?  Then suppose I let my mind build up a fantastic email exchange where you attempted to seduce my 14 year old sister while pretending to be a 16 year old from Pensacola?  Then suppose I find some of the public Florida bulletin boards and lay this before their public audience along with specific comments about the dirty language you used and how you made her cry and think about running away?  Then suppose I tell everyone we had to stop her from committing suicide last week?

Impossible! and no one would believe it you might scoff. Everyoen knows better than to fall for something like that!  However you should read last year's case of the neighbor woman who drove the 16 year old girl in Kansas City to suicide by pretending to be a 17 year old boy, first building up an online relationship and then beginning to harass her with comments about her appearance and personality. She hung herself in a closet while her mother was cooking dinner.

Admin lets this guy continue to post and, as I have said before, we have talked (or should have talked) this issue out for now.  If this thread fits within board policy and a group of people find some sort of value in here which escapes me, then so be it.  If these turn out to be pictures of some other girl or a Photoshopped inserting of a letter on a picture, then some folks will look like idiots even if they pretend that they always knew it was fake.

I (personally) find this topic a weird combination of objectionable/humorous/sick/curious. I see shreds of experience that mirror my own, and a mass of information that I simply do not relate to. I also find it interesting how our community of members reacts to this.

I think that, even in (maybe ESPECIALLY in) some of the fringe posts - the ones that twist something in the reader's gut - there is an opportunity for looking at that reaction to understand what it means. I can tell you that ST's posts have made me think (a good thing), reaffirmed many (most?) of my core values (which are vastly different than his), provided me the opportunity to try to step outside myself to see things from a POV that has little to do with my customary POV, and in most ways, feel empathy for someone whom I believe (based on his posts) lives a shallow and sad existence - one I would not want for anyone.

All that said, if the time comes when this appears to be a promotion of these behaviors, it will have crossed the line and will be dealt with.

If the confessions somehow prove cathartic for the OP and at the same time, offers some insight into the fact this sort of thing exists, then, it seems to me, there is some value.

Thank you for the candid and forthright answers to my questions.  Your RW life has two parts:  pursuing sex and teasing scammers.  I will ignore the scammers and concentrate on your sex tourist history.

Your last post was very revealing and confirmed some theories that developed in my head over the years (I started this venture in 2002).  It seems that you can be described as man who 1) is a slave to his hormones and 2) has some psychological conditions such as to not seek a higher connection with emotional underpinnings.  That is what separates you from what I would call the typical RWD reader. 

My discussion with RW plus some forthright posters as you suggest that there are many men the same as you.  Some RW recognize you as a player and they play you for pretty gifts, perhaps not even giving you sex.  Others give the sex but are motivated primarily for the money.  Others give the sex, not because they want to, but because they hold hope for marriage and do not want to lose you to another woman who puts out.  And then some welcome sex because they like you and they like sex.  The last group is potential MARRIAGE MATERIAL.

It is my opinion that RW such as Yana are transparent.  Yes, they are hot temptresses; however, there is something missing when conversing with them.  They may talk about family values, yet it does not seem serious and spirited, there is no feeling of joy about building a life together.

Given your cost analysis, you spent very little on Yana, just “pocket money.”  So that is why a Grade II prostitute left you – you did not come up with sponsor-level payments.  In fact, it seems that you are doing this on the cheap, e. g. you did not have $100 to take a stripper back to your apartment for a ménage a trios. 

Please do continue with your confessions.  I would like to hear more about your wife and the reasons for marriage and divorce (btw, this does separate you from Pike in that you did marry).

A few more questions:

If you read the letter the "scammer" is holding in the photo that was posted, you will see interestingly that it is a cell phone number from Ireland. This is allegedly the OP's phone number if I understand correctly.

I'm no pro and sort of hate getting involved on this thread but it looks like it was Photoshopped to me.  Zoom in a bit and look closely at the top and right sides of the letter, then compare them to the left and bottom sides.  Also notice the top right half of the edge of the letter wher eit overlaps her sholder and hair.  The print appears to be double-imaged and also doesn't look properly aligned in relation to the paper edge either.

Enough, I am out of here and ignoring this thread in the future.

OK, well... my three-week Christmas/New Year vacation is coming to an end. I've spent the last 19-or-so days writing these confessions, corresponding with Russian scammers, visiting my shrink, watching sitcoms, downloading and watching porn, eating my hamburger helpers and TV dinners... and masturbating.

OK... so... The year is 2002. This year, the following one, and the one after that are VERY eventful years in my life. In 2002, I separate from my American wife, we have 2 sons. I move to another house altogether, our marriage had started its downward spiral in 1998-1999. First half of 2002, I am corresponding with both Natasha and Yuliya simultaneously. The conventional wisdom was to always have a plan B in case things "did not work-out" with plan A.
In July of 2002, I visit Natasha in Volgograd, Yuliya in Omsk and Vika in Kiev. In 2003, throughout the whole year, I go through a lengthy, incredibly costly (both financially and emotionally) court battle with my AW for custody of our 2 sons and "equitable" distribution of our assets. In April of 2004, Yuliya arrives in the US on her K1 visa, we get married 3 months later.

During about 6 months of correspondence, Natasha sent me a few pictures of herself. She looked like a normal 26-year old woman, somewhat attractive, no skimpy clothes, no photos in swimsuit. There was something always missing though in her pictures: a smile. I never really noticed it until later. We talked on the phone every week and she seemed like a very pleasant, intelligent person. There was absolutely NO reason for me whatsoever to suspect anything was amiss.
Between her and Yuliya, I was more impressed with her intellect and pleasant manners on the phone. She also spoke much better English and was more accessible (easier to reach by phone) than Yuliya.
So, as far as I was concerned, my Plan A was Natasha and Yuliya was my plan B.

Before getting on the flight to Russia Land, I purchased - among other things - two bracelets. An expensive one for Natasha and a cheaper one for Yuliya.

The day I arrived at Volgograd airport on Aeroflot and saw Natasha for the first time, I realized all of a sudden why she never smiled in her pictures. Her three upper front teeth had black streaks from decay. It was ugly if you looked closely. She also looked like she had lost a lot of weight rapidly, recently. On the positive side, she had an overall pretty face and a pleasant demeanor.

Our first night in the apartment I had rented in Volgograd. She did not want to have sex. I insisted. She took off her clothes and I was shocked with the sight of her breasts. She was only 26, but had the tits of a 70-year-old woman, all sagging and droopy... imagine a completely deflated balloon.
She told me she was still a virgin. I turned off the lights so that I don't see her tits while deflowering her.

She never introduced me to her family even though she had told me she was born - and always lived - in Volgograd. When the subject of her parents came-up, she always changed conversation and avoided answering.

At some point, she introduced me to her girlfriends/clients. Natasha was un-employed and made some money on the side translating emails back and forth between her girlfriends (and their own extended friends) and Western men. Natasha was the "expert" on RW/WM relationships among her entourage. Her relative command of the English language allowed her to surf the Internet and gather a lot of information. She continued to tell me about her sexual "inexperience" and how it meant to her so much that I was the first man she slept with. Sure.

We then traveled together to St. Petersburg and Moscow. Her first time ever out of Volgograd, according to her. But by now, I was starting to doubt everything she said... my paranoia was kicking-in and raising all kinds of red flags in my head.
