The best profile line ever
« on: March 02, 2009, 03:02:17 PM »
This one has got to rank up there in the top 5 if not the best ever line in a profile...  I won't post a link to the actual listing or give the site where I found her, but I think it is okay to quote her...

"I want, people who do bad for me, after very much suffer..I want this..bad people need suffer.."

Yeah baby! SUFFER!  ROAST IN HELL! A date with Beelzebub at the Hades Hog Pork Park!

While I agree in theory with her words there... I wonder why on earth she'd feel the need to put that in a profile? Wow...

I think she is trying to say this.

I want the people who do bad things to me, to suffer.  The people that do bad things to me, need to suffer.  It is just a modern twist to "An eye for and eye, and a tooth for a tooth.  I say you go for it Dave.

Have her compile a list, and then you can build a relationship from there.  She will tell you, the suffering for each offense.  Then you will know, the risk versus reward.   :-X

I've got a feeling this lady was badly burned, abused and used.... and wishes the emotional pain she
endured on her past tormentor. She's likely to have built a wall, and to gain her trust will take much
time, patience - and waving green flags called "consistency"...

She'll require a remarkably honorable and sincere man, nothing less.

I am reminded of an old Erwin thread entiltled, " Which One of You Guys Poisoned the Mind of This Woman? "

Yeah, I agree she was burned pretty good.  My guess is that it's very recent and she's still in considerable internal pain.  Of course I am only guessing, but it appears that she's looking for a man (external force) who can heal her and remove that pain.

That's the kind of emotional situation which would possibly (likely) cause her to jump into marriage with the first man who is kind to her without really taking the time to know him.  Most abusive men appear as princes and 'rescuers' at first. She's probably setting herself up for the continuing cycle of abuse. It's sad that she hasn't taken the time to heal herself before jumping in again.

But then again, all this speculation comes from one single line in a profile... she may just be a crack-up.  It's tempting to write to her to gather the real story, but, I think I'll have to take a pass on that one.

Diplomacy, she could very well rewrite Dante's circles for us with that list.  :-X

I would be willing to set up an excel sheet for you Dave.  We could organize by degree of punishment and group similar offenses.  :P

All joking aside, you do bring into light the darker side of this pursuit.  You may have less emotional baggage with a younger woman, but even that depends of the family situation.

The longer you are member of a society with such abuses found in the FSU, the more patient and understanding a WM must be.  I have found a lot of internalizing, amongst the women of the FSU.  As blunt as they may be in other areas, past demons are not discussed very much.

From the onset I sought a woman closer to my age. My rationale while may be a bit "out there" was I would have more in common with her than a younger or much younger lady. I've dated much younger AM enough to realize we are on two totally different spheres. I am still a bit old fashion and quite set in some of my ways. I can only imagine what life would be like with a much younger RW with whom I had cultural and generational differences. Hats off to you guys that do it but quite honestly I don't think I have the nerves or patience. I've raised 4 children two of which were my own. I could raise more children as I love them to death but, I don't want one for a wife and partner.

I said all that, to say this. I have found a gem of a woman. (of course she says she found me, maybe so) She has lived through the harshness of the Soviet times. She has experienced her share of pain on other fronts and still has the most amazing attitude. She is truly a beautiful woman from her inner core to everywhere outwardly. I am a very lucky man.  :D

LoL... yeah, my little group of pool/billiard friends here have taken this as our goofy mantra.. any comment of any kind is answered with "SUFFER!!"...

"Hey, I need another beer!"
"SUFFER a-wipe SUFFER!"

"Great shot! make another and you'll SUFFER!!"

"SUFFER IN DEFEAT, Limpstick! SUFFER!"

What can I say? an intellectual bunch we obviously are.  If she only knew how she touched a group of morons on the other side of the planet... she'd want us to SUFFER!

You've raised an interesting issue. How many letters on average need to be sent/received in order to qualify the process for stalking?  ???

Well, I am sure that JR was making a purely Americana joke.  ;D  I would say that technically, sending even multiple emails a multiple number of times would not be considered stalking.  Stalking would be for her to show up at other places, e.g., different dating sites, finding your profile in other places, finding you on different chat systems, and generally tracking and following someone would be stalking.  Two or even a few emails is really nothing.

I've had a few ladies in which I have lost interest for various reason write to me a few times to ask "why?" and some would even get fairly nasty.  This is very unusual RW behavior (at least from what I have seen) as they move on very quickly.  Unusual, but still not stalking.  I think we differentiate stalking by the behavior of "tracking and following" with nefarious overtones.

The letters I received from this particular lady were polite, and normal.  I felt a little sorry for her because I think Vawgun is correct in that she has been hurt before and probably very recently, however, I did not want to get involved in that particular situation and she didn't contact me again.

I don't think there's really anything wring with this lady. Just hurt by something/someone of which we have no knowledge.

BUT, She has become my favorite philosopher!  ;D  ;D

i did understand it was a joke, so i can be spared of suffering ))

as for stalking - what you say makes sense. But the line between stalking-nonstalking is dotted. For example i have account at myspace, facebook, gmail blog, and so on. Let's say i correspond with the person via e-mail. The person knows my name so he/she founds me on all those site - because he/she has profiles there too. Would it qualify for stalking? Or it would be stalking if I am unwilling to add this person to my contact lists, and would not be stalking if I am happy to see this person on my contact lists?
