RW W/2 girls 17 & 11 needs help

Married Sept 2006 in Russia there on a K3 Visa came to Fresno Ca. July 2008

Short story the AM walked out Feb. 2009 gave her no money for food or tickets to go back to Russia.He came back gave her $40 for the 11 yr old school lunches. I talked to him and offered to help them he was angry and would only say she will learn the hard way. 1 week later he came back gave $100 for food & paid rent still no tickets to go home. He also never updated her visa or applied for SSI so she could work. So at this time no money for food no offer to send them home no SSI so she can find work to pay for any needs.

Just for you who would ask I am helping for the two under age girls the 11 yr old is vary good friends with my 9 yr old they play together all the time and that's how I know them they are not part of my service.

I took her to an Immigration service where they found out he pulled his support so she is on her own. The service filled out a I-360 form this will take about 30 days so she can get INS support for food rent and other needs so she has help coming..

the main two problem He has not made a commitment to help her he has not offered to send her home just told her to go back to Russia.

Second we are told that after this form comes back in 30 days she can file for SSI and that will take at least 1 year so she still can't work. The 17 year old also can not work. So dose anyone know how they can get some kind of work permit till they get there SSI card?

Last they don't want a hand out they want to work if your in Fresno Ca. They can baby sit or clean house the mother is a Doctor and the 17 year old can help out in and office or restraint anything normal they just don't have SSI ?

The mothers English is good the 17 year old english  is poor, but understands she is not 18 so she cant go to an adult school for English.

There is much more to this story I think 100% from what this mans own family has told me that he has 100% planed to force her back to Russia.

I'm not sure how the AM can "pull his support" after the fact.  Nevertheless, she can file for divorce and get court ordered support.  She should not be concerned about her green card if the marriage was entered into in good faith.  Read Choin v Mukasey

She needs to file for a divorce and get an Ex-Parte filed ASAP! An Ex-parte is a three day notice for a court hearing. In other words, three days after filing the Ex-parte she will be in court and the judge will order temporary spousal and child support based upon his/her incomes. He is married to her and she doesn't work, he can't just pull his support. It doesn't work that way. She needs an attorney. Support will come FAST once the Ex-parte is filed.

Jolly Rats, Good advice but ex-parte is not an order, it simply means a hearing without the other party being noticed.  These are used to get a temporary order because the injury to the person needs immediate relief.
Getting an attorney is wise.  However, she has zero money.  She needs to be taken to one of the local free legal services in her area.  She should start by asking at her church or call the court clerk for a list.   Ultimately he will have to pay for her attorney as well as he has as the the money.  This case sounds to me like he may be broke and realizes he got in over his head.  In that case she has a serious problem and should see social services for help and advice.

If he is not broke, then it could be matter of the girls being terrors and the mom not controlling them.  This happened to me with my first k-1 who also had two daughters.  Fortunately, I did not make the unwise decision to marry first and ask questions later as what seems to have been done here by one or both parties.

Not being noticed in adn Ex-Parte has not been my experience. Been thru more than one.

We don't know the reason. You may be right. Either way she needs some help and being married means he needs to man up and take care of it properly.
