I will ask a question that I think alot of guys here are wondering about Ken. So what now? Are you going to look to the FSU again or are you going to give up on RWs?
How on earth could you ever go back to American women after being with a woman from the fsu?  I know I couldn't.  I am dabling a bit on some sites now and thinking about a trip later this year.

Gunny,

Welcome to the RWD site. Hope you find it as interesting as it is today and yesterday. Don't hesitate to ask questions....Semper Fi.

  Jazzy,

Hope your marriage is going well and all things are good for you. Is England starting to grow on you? Kinda thought you would appear on this thread..lol.

   Ken,

I've always respected you and your opinions and still do. You have a ton of knowledge for members here and thankfully you share even the hardest items with us all. It seems you have it together and will continue to be a friend to RWD. You kind of remind me of a drill instructor so thats a good thing..lol.

Makkin,
I think there is a need for some dispensing of "tough love" occassionally here.  I watched jb use this method for years and with some good results.  Think of me as "jb light."  Thank you for your compliments.

Hi KenC,

Do you think you'll be able to settle for a woman closer to your own age after having spent 10 year with a much younger one? Has your age-serach criteria changed as a result of you marriage to Lena?
Will you still be willing to go for a 20 year age difference or more?

Thanks

Are you going to bring the next future ex on a student visa also?

jb said KenC was a "train wreck waiting to happen". He indeed was outspoken and said it like it is.

I don't think Maxx is "kicking Ken when he's down" I think Maxx is giving Ken what he expected when he started the thread. KenC has insulted a lot of people over the years, pushed his way on others and displayed a lack of understanding or care for other peoples problems, chalking it up to "they must be idiots"

 ....

Well, holy hell, from what I've read most of them were absolutely idiots. Men who were complete, total, absolute, blinded by fantasy idiots who themselves chose to marry a cosmic disaster of a woman.  These same unequivocal dream infested common sense tossing morons then whine and cry when the other shoe drops blaming everything on the "gold digging, green card craving, status whore", when they themselves were the fools who married strangers in the first place, unable to communicate effectively, rushing into marriage without taking the time to grow and flourish the relationship naturally and learn about the woman inside and out during the process.

Do you ever see one of these nuts come back and say "hey, I knew the risk, did the deed, got screwed because of my own stupidity, so I won't whine about it now.. just don't do what I did because I was an idiot."   Nope.. we hear only "She's so bad, bad bad woman, she wants to castrate me and eat my testicles and it was her plan from the start... bad bad RW... oh so bad.. waaaah waaaah waaaaaaah"

And there's the difference -- show me the whining, pissing, moaning in this thread.  And who are the ones blaming the woman?  Hmmmmm, interesting.

Apologies for the more crass post.

Pitbull,
As I didn't really have any criteria the first time, yes I would pay more attention to it this time.  (I just "bumped" into Lena on a website and called her spontaniously never even considering that anything long term would develop)  This time I would look closer to my age and strongly look at if the lady has had children.  To me it is the life experience that is more important than the woman's age.  If she has the experience of being married previously and has a child would be more important than her birthdate.  Ideally in my mind would be a woman about 40.

Your right Ken, I ruined myself long ago with any chance of making it with an American woman. To many trips to the FSU. I live in a smaller city and have been labeled as a male whore and player because I date women in the FSU. For some reason it bothers me in the least:))

Dan, sounds like a subject you know a great deal about. I know where this is going. Many people have been there. No sense in turning this into the old joke "You can't quit because you're fired!". Rather like what Doug McCarther said to Congress "Old solders don't die they just fade away". You got my permission to correct my spelling and quote...

Sadly Dave, we have seen some pretty serious mental cases here at RWD on occasion - so yeah, I do know something about it.

Two facts remain - you are deeply disturbed and need professional help - AND - RWD is unable to provide you the therapy you need. Please seek the professional help you should have gotten years ago.

Maxx2,

I remember the "jackhammer" comment and it was used in a response to me way back when we
were debating the 1 week wonder stuff. But, I cannot remember if it was jb or Kenc. It was one
of them though. So your memory of the word usage is correct. It was before this board I believe.

I do say I am surprised at your reaction to what Kenc is going through. I think I'm up towards the
top of the list of someone who could be using negative words and rubbing it in. But, I cannot.
I actually empathize with him. I would not want anybody to experience what he's going through.
Divorce breaks down a man and rips his feelings apart. It's an internal wound that takes time to
heal. You've been through it and you experienced it in a most difficult way. Knowing the hurt
that is associated with a divorce, do you actually enjoy the fact the Kenc is experiencing this
hurt?

I do remember the words he used towards you when you first posted your experience. I also
remember the words he used towards me when I was just beginning. I did pop back in here and
there to let Kenc know I am still married. But, I have matured beyond those feelings.

Kenc was certainly on the high horse in his posts. He told me to come back in 5 years, and,
well, its been over 5 years now. But, I'm certainly not here to say, "see you were wrong."
Because I don't care about that. The way that Kenc has treated people in the past in his posts
was something I never did understand. It seems that when a man has experience with an
FSUW he should try and encourage and help other men, not berate them. Kenc was definitely
not a nice guy. On the other hand, he has given good advice to many people.

I am not going to kick him when he's down. I wish the best for him and hope he does
find another FSUW. Perhaps you can join me in these thoughts.

Mark

Maxx, are you referring to Manny? For one, I was relieved to see him go, and he seems to be
doing fine elsewhere - where he doesn't have to spar with reason. I believe you're far better
than that - and when I see you recall how Ken's avatar back in the day included his Lena in
a white swimsuit - well, I get concerned that you're still grieving after all this time.

Go back a few pages and reread Gator's post - it was, as jb would say, exceedingly good advice.

You lose Dave!

Unbeknownst to you (obviously), you have fallen prey to Godwin's Law - actually, Godwin's Corrollary. Read all about it here -- http://www.russianwomendiscussion.com/index.php?topic=7934.0 (or search the 'net - you may find it).

Your kamikaze trolling is both predictable and boorish and further evidence of your deep-rooted psychopathy.

Interesting exhanges.

No, two wrongs don't make a right, yet turn about is fair play and people who are treated by others in the same way they treated them have little to complain about. That whole Golden Rule thing we grew up with, remember?

I read between all of the lines here that KenC is reaping a bit of what he sowed and also that a good-sized group is willing to forego that in favor of treating him in a "gentlemanly fashion" by refraining from kicking him when he was down. Frankly, I suspect that is due to their desire to keep it from happening to them and their fear that it someday may occur anyway. Dime store psychology perhaps, but seems to be there.

Looking back over his posts and recalling his tone in a couple of discussions, I understand several of these remarks and find them, at worst, running in the same vein as his previous tone. He invited comment by posting here, which was certainly a brave thing, yet when a brave man takes his lumps that is part of his bravery, not something to become angry about happening. A large number of MoH's are awarded posthumously but that doesn't mean we hate the other side who just responded by doing their thing from their side of the table.

And yes, if my marriage breaks down, I hope I can contribute something to others with the information.
Pick and choose carefully among the advice offered and consider the source carefully. PM, Skype or email if you care to chat or discuss
