According to my experience in introducing Russian girls to foreigners, I would devide Russian girls into three groups:

Women are the same everywhere.  A "good" woman is a challenge, and worth at least a try or two.

Your second category contains a lot of good-hearted women who are driven by their situation.  To imply by exclusion from the third group that they are not "good" is arrogant.  While courtship can advance quickly with such motivated women, getting to know these women and understanding their true feelings takes time for which there is no substitute.

To suggest that a "good" woman will not sleep with you "quickly" is debatable.  I agree that they will not use sex as a manipulative tool (that comes later  ).  However, when the moment is right .... Just because a woman is not after your money, or she is not on a fast track to leave Russia, does not mean she will ignore the moment.

I think your comments and questions could be applied to women in almost any country in the Western World.   I don't think they are entirely unique to FSU.

1. Money-grubbing gold diggers - We certainly have those in the US.   There are women who will not give you the time of day unless you wear an Armani suit, drive a luxury sports car, and have lots of money to buy them expensive gifts.   These women aren't worth the time of day for most men, although if you've got a lot of money to burn they can provide a certain amount of excitement.

2. Women wanting marry up to a higher social and economic class.   We certainly have these in the US also.  It's not as much as long ago because many women here now have good jobs and make good money, but it still happens.  Women become nurses hoping they will meet rich doctor.  Women become legal secretaries hoping they will meet a rich lawyer.  If a woman is good looking and smart, she will usually find her target.   Whether she married for love is another question.

3. Women with a heart of gold.   These are the women most men should marry.   They are honest decent women and can make wonderful wives.  They will not use sex to manipulate man.   They have sex because they want intimacy with their man.   They are not easy to get into bed until they trust you, and you must earn their trust.   Once you've done that the rewards for your patience are well worth it.
