I am telling you, guys, one more time- there IS no difference in your case. None! RW and UW are same. If it comes to sightseeing though St. Petersburg is way better.
ssshhh... do not tell anyone....it will shatter some illusions.  ;)
No it is not a dog. Its really how I look.  ;)

What is your problem Oooops?  There's supply for this kind of demand in both RU and UA; the guy simply asks where the it's better.  :D  But do you think the supply will immediately end once the demand withdraws?

A lot of guys get into this because of the words "Mail Order Bride".

I know all the ladies are offended by this term and probably so are a lot of the men.

Anyone who has been in this a while knows that there is no such thing as a Mail Order Bride from the FSU.

I suggest reading the following "scam report" from a guy who had a bad time.  However, I want to also point out the stupidity of the writer as well.  He was obviously shopping for a mail order bride and had absolutely no idea that there is no such thing.  This poor sucker did EVERYTHING wrong from day 1.

really amazing huh Doll?  Its hard to imagine someone could be so naive and even still believe that he was somehow wronged by this girl.  I wish there was a way to find her and hear her story.

I did forget!  :D

One expert even has written an explanatory note to the photo of his wife on the cover of his guide that mini-skirt, black stockings and fur coat are all her own clothes and  it is not her regular "shopping at Wal-Mart wear",  sometimes, but not often, though he did not mention where she got her black bra from.  :D

Ooooops , let them go (shopping)!  :D
They'll see very soon there is no difference between AW and R(U) women.
God bless their hearts!  :D

Oh there's a difference alright! And I have to go with GOB on this one. The difference between a RW/UW and an AW is about 40 pounds. That is at least until the RW/UW gets to to America :) Then the bets are off...

I have nothing against supply and demand, I have problem with "shopping" for the future wife like for a pair of shoes from Sears catalog...

If the men are shopping (which I believe is probably true more often than not) then women are baiting or "hawking" their wares, luring men to buy.

I think there's a lot of ulterior motives. which don't necessarily live on the surface coming from both sides.

Ok, I'll try to explain my point of view   ;)   Again, I have nothing against international marriages, dating through Internet and such.   But I'd think that when a man starts this endeavor he should already know why exactly he's looking for a wife in this particular country - culture, looks, language, whatever.    But going to find a wife somewhere just because one country is cheaper or has no visa restrictions???    That just beyond my comprehension...     :rolleyes2:

Actually Oooops if that were the main consideration none of these guys would even be going to the FSU.  There are plenty of much easier places to go that cost a lot less.  Men have made some basic decisions once they decide to go this route.  So, the question then becomes how to go about it.  As I said in my post if I had it to do over again i would just pick an interesting city and go live there for 2-3 months minimum and learn Russian the whole time.  With that parameter I would have to be very aware of costs and I would choose the most economically feasible place, perhaps over someplace a little more interesting.  Under those parameters.. if my choice was between Piter and Odessa I would have to go with Odessa.  However.. if I chose either place.. and did not have the financial considerations.. I am sure I would find a suitable woman in either place.

What I don't understand are guys that go to several cities, especially on short trips.  If you are in a city of a million people and can't find a nice girl worth getting involved with what makes someone think they are going to find someone/something different in some other city?   Sometimes I think guys should look more inside than outside if they are having a problem finding someone.  It may be that what they are looking for doesn't exist, or, they are not using the right skills to find and woo such a perfect woman.

I don't have any experience with Russian verses Ukrainian women, except that my ex was Russian/Ukrainian. Don't do that. The Russians look down their noses at Ukrainians as some form of sub-species. My wife went around hating herself for being half Ukrainian. Or maybe it's more precise to say she hated her father for being Ukrainian....at any rate she sure did look down her nose at them. It was funny as hell in an ironic sort of way. That is until you pointed out the irony of it to her. Then there was just hell to pay...

Do I have to say it?

It's a joke, just a joke and nothing but a joke :)

JR..
Look.. we are all sophisticated enough on this forum to understand that a guy from LaLa Land that used FunnyMouse as his nickname must not be taken too seriously.. ;)

Anyway.. your date is cancelled.  She was very disappointed.

But seriously though.. I am really confused by this looking down on Ukraine thing.  I have asked my GF about it, and she is half Armenian.. and she has that too.. irrational and unexplainable bias against Ukrainian women.  WTF????????  I don't get it.  There has to be something, some origin for this bias.  Maybe some Czar picked a Ukrainian over a Russian or something... can anyone inform us?
